14-year-old Minke is found on the highway three years after her kidnapping. She doesn't know what happened or why she has wings tattooed on her back. Detective Asha, who failed to find Minke, is determined to unmask the perpetrators this time. Minke's father, ex-detective Lucas, conducts his own investigation against all the rules.

A gruesome suicide puts the investigation into Minke's kidnapping on edge. To speed up the process, police psychologist Kim tries to bring out Minke's repressed memories.
