A car accident involving a priest has the Blue Heelers puzzled as to what really happened. Tom is puzzled when he sees Father Leary talking to two con artists. Tom feels that Leary has become distant and rude.

The Blue Heelers think a theft of some stationary is a minor offence—until they discover the thief has struck many businesses in the area. The young student helping out at the real estate office seems like the perfect suspect until they learn that her father is the town's supplier and she could get supplies easily from home.
