Kôya Madoka est photographe, et il découvre par hasard lors d'un reportage proposé par une amie le petit monde de la Formule 4. Il est impressionné par ce qu'il y voit, tant humainement qu'au niveau mécanique.

Kôya a décidé de sponsoriser l'écurie Komaki, mais il se rend vite compte qu'il n'a aucune idée du montant nécessaire au fonctionnement d'une voiture de course.

L'écurie Komaki a trouvé un sponsor, mais les motivations de ce dernier ont été cachées à Haru.

Après sa quatrième place, Haru subit un peu gêné les shootings de la publicité qu'il doit tourner. Kôya tente de présenter ses excuses comme il peut pour l'avoir entraîné dans cette histoire.

La ville organise un marathon pour tenter de se redynamiser. Les pilotes qui utilisent le circuit local, ainsi que leurs équipes, sont sollicités afin de faire de cet événement une réussite.

Haruka is flying high in qualifying for the next round at Suzuka, but when race day comes and the heavens open, he is faced with the tough decision of which tires to run.

Satsuki's horror crash reopens old wounds, and to make matters worse, Mikazuki Beverages abruptly end their sponsorship deal with Komaki Motors. How will Haruka—and more importantly, Kouya—cope with this sudden turn of events?

While Satsuki recovers from his injuries in hospital, his replacement hasn't exactly impressed those in charge at Belsorriso, leading their eyes to be cast in the direction of Haruka.

Haruka tracks down Kouya, who has returned to the small town that was ravaged by a tsunami triggered by an earthquake 12 years before.

Now that Kouya has found some form of resolution to the trauma haunting him, everyone's attention turns to Haruka and his goal of standing on the top step of the F4 podium.

After a disappointing conclusion to the last race due to his tires going off, Haruka is determined to do better next time out. Meanwhile, Harunaga is out of the hospital and straight back in the car.

The FIA Japanese F4 Championship is reaching its climax and it all comes down to this race at Fuji Speedway. Will Haruka finally get to stand on the top step of the podium?
