Bonnie encourages Annetjie not to to give up on her dream of becoming a writer. Karen discovers something just as she and Vicky believe they have traced the owner of the glasses. Tertius makes a decision on Tracy’s behalf.

Tertius has had enough, and Liam is upset that the process for prosthetics is taking so long. Karen tests the diamond to see if it is real.

Chris comes looking for Karen, and Vicky steals the glasses case back. Leah is getting sicker and has to be admitted. Tracy is a wreck and Tertius sees Conrad comforting her.

Liam’s passion propels him into action. Vicky’s good deeds lead to unexpected twist and turns which cause a worried Steve to intervene. Leah’s illness pulls Tracy and Conrad closer together.
