Discuss Shameless

Some of the season names are named "Series" instead of "Season". Some of the episode names are "Shameless Episode...", while others are just the standard "Episode X", while other episodes are named "Season X, Episode X"

Thanks for reporting this. I think I managed to fix them up.

This is a total mess now, this is the UK (original) show and episodes from US version have been added which do NOT exist in the original. Example: Season One only has 7 episodes, not 12 and this is repeated with each season.....

Iā€™m not sure what you mean, season 1 of this show does only have 7 episodes... https://www.themoviedb.org/tv/1906-shameless/season/1

Argh! OK, I think I have everything fixed again. I've let the user who did this know of their mistake and I've locked the seasons to prevent this happening again. Let me know if you see anything that needs fixing.

I think you checked in the middle of my updates, Rebecca. :)

Thanks for fixing this, much appreciated :)

As it appears on the current version of the official network page, as well as on the oldest archived version of this page, the episodes aren't officially titled on the original broadcasting network. I have also checked multiple intermediate archived version of the page, for example here at the time of the broadcast of the 9th season, and the episodes are never titled.

So, I have removed the English titles and lock the corresponding field.

The information for this title was updated a good time ago now but whoever updated it added in US episodes which made everything wrong and why it was discussed at the time.

The episodes most certainly do have names as I have some 9f the DVDs and the link I posted above clearly shows the episode titles.

The titles may have been added at the time of the DVD release.

But, here, we list the series as it was originally broadcasted. And the official network page doesn't have titles for them.

Ah k, I would have thought the more information was better. Seems strange that the episode titles cannot be used despite them existing.

Anyway, thanks for letting me know, I'll make sure I don't put episode titles in future. Thanks again.

It's true only for information pertaining to the first broadcast of the series.

Seems strange that the episode titles cannot be used despite them existing.

It seems, based on the official network pages, that the titles didn't exist at the time of the first broadcast.

Okay, no problems. I'm not sure what you mean by the network pages but if it's All4/Ch.4 you're looking at, they tend to never put the episode titles for most of there content, not unless it's just the stuff I tend to watch šŸ˜…

Anyway, thanks again.
