There were plenty of times when I saw the friends put their shoes on the furniture without her saying anything. She even did it herself. Also, when they had the maid, the maid stood on the counter with her shoes on to dust the top of the cabinets. Again, Monica didn't say anything.
Now, I'm nowhere near being a clean freak and even so I wouldn't allow people's shoes on my furniture and counters.

Yes, that was one they only made a point of, if it was for that particular story. The fact she had asked Chandler to clean was pretty out of character in itself.

But you had to feel Chandler's glee when he got the door to the closet off and saw how messy it was in there!

Yeah, it was an unrealistic sitcom.

Just look at her cupboards...Someone who's apparently that OCD would lose their shit looking at that kitchen. Move a footstool or a pillow and she can't take it, random products, cans, boxes, cups with no sense of strategic organization yet she doesn't mind, and Imagine how dusty everything in there would get.

yeah shes not so clean and that episode proved it. I know people who do that too. Looks good on the outside but when you look in the closet its full of crap.
