Sue gets her first informant, Howie, who claims to have information on a highway robbery ring run by a man named Franklin, whom we never see. But Franklin and his associate Riggs are only willing to talk to Sue.
Meanwhile, Myles wants a new office but to get it he must try to find a way through his adversary, Randy.

Eve Gaylord tells Sue that her company Alta Tec is in trouble. Jack asks Sue to investigate Eve because has information on Alta Tec that could cause the company to collapse. Jack asks Sue to run a check on Eve so they can make sure she isn't lying.
Sue & Eve are in danger now that Eve has agreed to help. Miles wants to really win the game against rival agency DEA but will Sue agree to be the secret weapon? The case against Eve is in trouble because Eve was let go from Alta Tec.
Sue meets Scott from DEA and wants to find out how to beat the FBI. As Sue and the gang looks at Alta Tec documents they find records of chats and e-mails. When a witness Jack was getting diplomatic immunity for dies due to suicide Sue fears Eve could be killed next.

Sue meets Amanda, who tells her she saw a kidnapping. Everyone has trouble believing the story except Sue. Sue first met Amanda at Career Day some years ago. Myles meets Nora who wants to write a book on him.
Sue learns someone died of Ricin poisoning by Castor Beans. To make sure her story is true, Amanda see the kidnappers again (after sneaking out of her home) she plants a tracking device.
Tara gets a note that terrorists know where Amanda lives, Amanda's dad wants help in communicating with Amanda. Myles gives Nora an idea for her book, she wants to focus on Amanda and get to know Myles.

The Boys are apart of an online bachelor auction, soon Myles gets the most bids for charity. Sue tries to honor a dying mother's wish, to find out who killed her daughter Julie. The FBI talks to Brian Cooper who killed Julie because she helped rob the bank. Sue learns that there is sometimes a limit to how much justice is allowed by law.

Sue helps look for Katie who was kidnapped from Gallaudet University. Sue & Jack question Lance who says he didn't kidnap Katie. Sue & Jack don't believe the story. Sue learns that Katie was adopted and found her biological mom after 19 years.

Sue and Jack investigates why someone went on a shooting spree that killed several economists. Tara learns that several files are missing from Hammer Dynamics from the back up server. Sue, Jack, and Bobby go where they think Dan Malone might be. As they continue to track Dan Malone's whereabouts Jack gets shot and Sue comes to check on him only to be kidnapped by the suspect.
Jack issues an Amber Alert (which helps locate missing persons by putting information on television, street signs) to find Sue. Sue tries to gain her captors trust by getting Dan to tell her information about the shooting and try to convince him that the FBI was shooting at someone else.

The Deputy Attorney General has a problem with Jack's handling of the latest case. Jack wants to transport someone who may have possible information on a terrorist attack from Malaysia to the United States. The deputy attorney general denies Jack's request because he fears Jack maybe bringing a terrorist into the United States.
Meanwhile Adam Kinsey of "" final flight gets unprecedented access to continue researching his role as an FBI agent. The unprecedented access gives the team problems when his personal gets in the way.
Things get slightly more complicated for Tara when Stanley her old boyfriend returns to help crack the code of a possible terrorist plot from "" the king of terror.""

Sue runs into an old friend at a deaf and poetry reading. Sue invites Carol to spend time with her and Lucy. Her husband Ted who is a financial money manager keeps Carol from spending time with Sue and Lucy.
Leaving Lucy and Sue to wonder if everything is OK between Carol and Ted.
Bobby and Myles have the displeasure of escorting Howie and Otis to a case out of town because they are informants in the case. As Bobby and Myles continue on their way to Arizona they learn something about Howie. He won't go to Arizona by plane because of his fear of crashing the plane so that forces Bobby and Myles to drive to Arizona.
Tara and Lucy learn that Carol wasn't telling them whole truth. They find out that Ted made a lot of money. They also learn Carol had markings consistent with spousal abuse before, leading Sue, Lucy, Jack, and Tara to believe Carol pushed husband off the boat.
