Tintin is covering a story about the gangster in 1930's Chicago. And what better way to do that then going there ?

Tintin finds himself – by chance – entangled in a drug traffickers’ ring, which will take him all the way to India.

In India, Tintin meets the Maharaj of Gaipajama and finds out he will need to help him and his family to fight an opium business dangerous gang that works in that region.

Tintin, still wondering Britain, goes to Scotland to investigate a mysterious island that locals affirm to be the home of a terrible beast.

A good turn Tintin does for an absent-minded sigillographer gets him involved in dangerous political intrigue in the Balkan nation of Syldavia.

Tintin and Snowy must recover the lost scepter of King Ottokar before the rightful King is forced to abdicate by greedy forces.
