SHU, the wife of KI who is a key man in a listed company, Ming Kit Corporation, had fallen into a coma after a traffic accident sixteen years ago. Although KI has never given up SHU, he has been with LAM for a long time. KI’s mother, NAM, his son, CHAI and his youngest daughter, YAN all accept LAM. However, KI’s eldest daughter, KA believes that LAM has destroyed their family and regards LAM as their enemy. KA quarrels with a new doctor, HIM, due to the room changing issue for SHU. HIM is very firm. KA is mad. KI bought a diamond ring and propose to marry LAM after listening to NAM’s advice. KA finds that SHU has held her hand tight. She immediately informs everybody. As usual, the result is disappointed. YAN blames KA who is so anxious that she affects others. KA and LAM quarrel. LAM travels to Taiwan for both visiting her family and business.

LAM’s close relative has passed away. She is heart-broken. KI decides to take care of LAM. KI intends to tell SHU his relationship with LAM. Unexpectedly, the hospital requests everybody including the patients to evacuate before the bomb expert to dismiss a bomb. KI accompanies SHU to witness the fireworks as a result bomb explosion. KI finds SHU who is holding his hand tight. All are excited with SHU’s reaction. KI dare not to face LAM and avoids her. LAM then proposes to transfer to Taiwan. The Chairman of the Ming Kit Corporation, KIT, advises KI not to hide. KA quarrels with YAN again, as she is too nervous. KI scolds KA who is too stubborn. HIM sees that KA is so nervous, he questions her real motive. HIM even points out that whether KA has well prepared for SHU’s awakening. KA agrees with HIM at heart. HIM’s parent, HUAN and PANG go to the hospital to check SHU’s progress secretly. SHU awakes……

SHU only recognizes KI and cannot recognize her children. However, with the help of doctors and nurses, SHU is in good progress. CHAI is shocked to see KA who is deleting YAN’s email. CHAI forgives her as she has sacrificed a lot for the sake of their family. KA is touched. KA and KIT’s son, SHUN are lovers. KA always neglects SHUN as she has spent too much time to take care of SHU. KA demands KI to give up LAM. KI refuses. SHU misses LAM so much that she loses her temper. LAM hurries to the hospital to sooth SHU. KA scolds LAM instead. KI’s good friend, LUN, heard that KI is preparing the divorce document, he greets KI. YAN quarrels with KA when she found out that KA has deleted her email in the hospital in front of SHU. SHU cannot stand them. The professional therapist, MING, scolds them. All are glad when they learnt that SHU can return home. However, SHU is very unease……

SHUN has done something wrong at work and was scolded by KI. KA invites SHUN for lunch to comfort him. KA receives a call from her family and is very anxious. SHUN is very upset. SHU is suffered from taxi-phobia and MING gives her a ride to her old house. PANG and HUAN follow SHU, the taxi driver play tricks on them. PANG hurt his neck. HIM brings PANG and HUAN to the hospital for body check. They meet KA. KA recognizes PANG who was the driver knocking SHU down. HIM then knew why PANG had disappeared for some time. SHU thinks of her ice-cold relation with KI when she saw KA and SHUN. SHUN proposes to marry KA. KA shuns the issue. They have a happy time together in Stanley. SHUN receives a mysterious call that does not want to let KA know. PANG drives again with a friend’s encouragement. However, PANG knocks SHUN down. KA insists to sue PANG.

KI is glad to share his success with SHU. They visit the old dating places. SHU is confident with the future. KI is under great pressure. KA insists to sue PANG. SHUN believes that KA is for the sake of taking revenge instead of caring abouthim. KA feels shameful when SHU spoke good words for PANG. SHU feels guilty when she recalled that she just wanted to leave home on the day of the car accident. KA and YAN again quarrel. SHU suggests KA to tempt YAN with a bun. All think of the past and are very touched. KA is very upset as SHUN proposes to break up with her and SHU does not treasure the new handkerchief she bought SHU, but she treasures the one LAM helped to get back instead. KA cannot control herself and tells SHU that KI and LAM have been in love for ten years. SHU is shocked.

SHU arranges to meet LAM and claims that she will get back what she deserves. LAM promises to consider her suggestion. KI is handling a court case and emphasizes that he must uphold righteous. LAM understands KI and takes the initiative to propose breaking up. KI promises to take care SHU wholeheartedly. However, he worries a lot for LAM and arranges LUN to go to Shanghai with LAM. When YAN and PETER are quarrelling for a break up, YAN crashes towards MING’s nephew, LOK. LOK makes YAN drop her contact lens. LOK and YAN scold each other. LOK picks YAN’s telephone string. He finds it very lovely and keeps it. KA blames HIM’s ex-girlfriend, YING, who has competed with her for SHUN. She even scolds her and claims that she just aimed at marrying to a rich family. Although HIM knew that YING is fond of playing around, he still protects her. KA wants to reunite with SHUN but is in vain. She is very upset. HIM comforts her……

KIT knew that KA and SHUN have separated. KIT refuses to accept YING. KA is sick. She found that she has had concentrated too much on her work and SHU. SHU intends to cure KA with MING’s bathing treatment. KA refuses SHU to take bath for her. SHU suddenly learnt that her children have already grown up. SHU tries to cook her family some food. Consequently, all have to suffer SHU’s overcooked dishes but are still very happy and warm. YAN and LOK again quarrel due to some misunderstanding. MING helps to mediate. KA knew that YING is HIM’s ex-girlfriend. She teases HIM. In order not to work in Ming Kit Corporation, CHAI changes faculty frequently. KI believes that CHAI’s career goal of being a hair stylist is too cheap. CHAI is mad. The father and son relationship deteriorates. YAN works in Lamma Island and meets LOK again. YAN is trapped on top of a tree for the sake of helping a small child picking a kite……

YAN and LOK blossom special feeling on each other. KI and KA ignore CHAI’s interest and arrange him to work in Ming Kit. SHU encourages CHAI to discuss with KI and even enrolls CHAI to participate in a hair styling competition. KI objects SHU to participate in a fund raising campaign for the patient in coma organized by HIM at the beginning. With LAM’s persuasion, KI does not object SHU. KA knew that LAM has had influence on KI, she is very upset. SHU performs well in the press conference. A rich merchant wants to bribe HIM to certify a false record for him. HIM refuses. CHAI’s partner, BO, is fond of getting acquainted with top model. His girlfriend, PING, intends to buy CHAI a scissors for his competition. However, BO does not concern at all. PING is upset. CHAI tells KI his dream. KI gives him one chance. However, there are accidents on the day of competition.

CHAI fails to participate in the competition. He has no choice but joins Ming Kit. YING is holding hands with SHUN in front of HIM. HIM is upset. KA and HIM encourage each other. HIM does not get promoted as he was commented of being too aggressive. HIM decides to set up his own clinic. The relation between KA and HIM improve. KA gives HIM some stock tips. KI obtains the top ten successful youth award. All are glad. KI buys SHU some precious accessories for the award presentation event. LAM also attends after thorough consideration. All congratulate KI. SHU is sick and make KI very embarrassed. She spoils the whole night. Fortunately, LAM helps SHU to get rid of the embarrassed situation. KI pretends that he does not mind. In fact, he is very upset. SHU makes some KI’s favorite dish to compensate. KI goes to see LAM and request to reunite. LAM refuses.

KI does mind SHU who made him so embarrassed on the award presentation night. LOK proposes to marry YAN. KI objects as he points out that LOK is not financially stable. YAN and LOK elope away to Lamma Island. LUN expresses to LAM his love. LAM does not give him an answer. LUN expresses that he would wait. YAN tells KA how to test a real relationship. KA found that her real one is HIM. HIM does not listen to KA’s advice and loses a lot in the stock market. Meanwhile, a patient complains HIM. HIM resigns angrily. HIM even promises to make false record for Mr. YAU. KI and LAM love each other deeply. They eventually reunite. LUN teases them. KI feels shameful. KI let YAN and LOK get married so as to compensate SHU. SHU finds out that KI and LAM love the same song. SHU knew that there is something wrong. CHAI takes SHU to Ming Kit to see KI. SHU witnesses KI and LAM are very intimate in the car. SHU pretends that she is all right.

KI and LAM watch VCD overnight. KI lies to SHU that he has just woken up. SHU is very upset. HIM pangs of a guilty conscience and returns the money to YAU. This incident lays the seeds of trouble. SHU decides to compete with Lam for KI. She buys some food and drinks to Ming Kit during tea-time. However, they play trick on her and makes KI very embarrassed. SHU belittles herself when she saw that LAM gives KI assistance at work with a businesswoman image. SHU tries hard to learn how to use a computer. However, she breaks KI’s computer. KI is very upset. CHAI persuades KI to give SHU more time. KI knew that CHAI has learnt about his relationship with LAM. KI shows his concern to SHU. SHU felt more upset. PANG eventually solves his years old problem with SHU’s consolation. SHU understood that KI and LAM match each other better. She tells MING her decision.

MING warns SHU not to push herself too hard and advises her to think twice before she made up her mind. SHU does not want to break the family up and tries to cope with KI. However, she cannot forget KI and LAM’s relationship and understands that KI only loves LAM. SHU makes up her mind. SHU takes very good care of CHAI on his first day of work. CHAI felt warm at heart. SHU recommends HIM to KA as she finds him a good guy with bright prospect. YAN again plays a fortune-telling game with KA and it again shows that HIM is destined to be her man. KA laughs. HIM does not repay his debt in time. YAU’s subordinates beat him. KA passes by. She lends three hundred thousand dollars to HIM. When KA knew about the whole story, she teases HIM. The typhoon signal No. 8 has been hoisted on the eve of YAN’s wedding. All blame that it is because of KI who does not bless YAN wholeheartedly. SHU goes to LAM’s place to find KI in the rain……

SHU wants to find a job. She even applies for a post at one of Ming Kit’s supermarket. The staff gossip about this issue. KIT warns KI that love affair may bring negative effect to a man. KI is under great pressure. He vents his anger to CHAI in the meeting. SHU gets loss. She eventually returns home with a strong will and calmness. NAM points out to KA that KI and SHU always quarreled with KI in the past. If SHU did not fall into a coma, KI and SHU must have already divorced. KI does not want to divorce. SHU then raises the issue at Ming Kit so as to force KI to make up his mind. KA believes that it was her who made SHU encountered the traffic accident. Hence, KA always forces herself to be the best at all aspects and when SHU wakes up, she can give SHU a harmonious family. KI agrees to get divorced. However, KA cannot face the reality and blames SHU who destroyed a happy family. KA is so perplexed that she sacks a staff……

CHAI becomes the scapegoat of the parallel import issue. KI is very angry and orders CHAI to collect back all parallel-imported goods. The warehouse workers are very angry at KA and refuse to work overtime. KA and CHAI then have to deal with them in person. CHAI is sick of BO who treats PING badly. However, PIND does not mind. CHAI finds that PING is very kind and gentle. LUN and KA try to persuade their client not to sue Ming Kit. The client intends to insult KA after drunk. KA counters his attack. The client is so angry that he decides to sue Ming Kit. When KA learnt about this incident, she leaves during the meeting as she cannot stand the pressure from her family and work. SHU understands KA’s pressure as she has to face a broken family and frustration at work, she persuades KI to forgive KA. KA gives up herself and drinks in the pub alone. She even attracts the gigolo. HIM passes by. He brings KA to his home.

SHU nearly falls into the trap of the gang who involves in cigarette smuggling. Fortunately, MING saves SHU. CHAI enjoys life by rendering free hair-cut services. PING and BO break up. PING has no where to go and moves in CHAI’s home. KI asks SHU to quit her job of being a tea lady. SHU claims that people should not discriminate individual against their occupations. KI proposes to marry LAM in front of everybody. LAM is touched. With CHAI’s sincere invitation, KA returns home to celebrate her birthday. However, she cannot stand them who are discussing KI’s wedding and leaves home again. HIM buys KA a birthday cake. The starving KA thanks HIM a lot. KA tells HIM that she has no more wishes since SHU woke up. However, she is touched with what HIM has done to her. SHU keeps KA’s red pocket money and hopes that she could give it to her some day.

KA hides in the rooftop of the FONG’s home all day and treats everybody coldly. HUAN takes very good care of her. HIM scolds KA who has gone too far. PANG does not allow HIM to interfere. HIM does not compromise with his patient. KA takes the opportunity to dun for debt and rebukes HIM who should not drive his customer away. However, HIM strikes back and claims that KA does not qualify to teach him. KA is shocked. KA and HIM wander around separately. Destiny makes them meet. KA offends the gangsters. The gangsters then chase after KA and HIM. They flee away separately. HIM backs home. He worries a lot for KA. KA plays trick on him. PING makes a leather bag for CHAI. CHAI is touched. SHUN felt that KIT looks down upon him. Meanwhile, YING is pregnant. SHUN dare not to say a word. LUN takes the chance to invite SHUN join force with him. CHAI beats BO who intended to reunite with PING. PING finds CHAI and BO very strange. HUAN is sick……

HUAN is sick. PANG argues with HIM regarding the issue of using Chinese or Western treatment. HUAN worries a lot. PING refuses CHAI as she does not want to talk about love affair at the moment. CHAI pretends that he is all right. SHU resigns voluntarily as the company is going to sack some staff. SHU finds a job in a cosmetic company as saleslady. Her boss, MAGGIE, requires SHU to improve her image. CHAI and PING help SHU to change her image. LAM wants to make KI and KA reconcile. LAM is confident that she will be a good wife. HUAN is in the hospital. PANG and HIM taker care of each other. The relationship between them thus improves a lot. HIM tells KA why the relationship between PANG and him is so bad. KA persuades HIM to treasure PANG. However, she avoids talk about her family. KI is shocked to see SHU who has become a businesswoman at NAM’s birthday banquet. LAM witnesses the scene.

NAM’s clinic is going to be demolished. NAM confronts against the government officials. PING finds out that NAM has been injured. NAM discharges her staff unwillingly. SHU invites NAM to stay with her. The relationship between NAM and SHU thus improves. LAM also invites NAM to live with them. LAM asks KI to welcome NAM. NAM is touched. YAN complains LOK who only concentrated at his work. SHU makes use of KI and her story to advise YAN treasure the time when the wife and husband are together. SHU works hard to win some orders. YAN is pregnant. KI worries a lot for YAN and LOK who have no plan at all. CHAI misses the hair saloon a lot. KI is mad. NAM felt that LAM despises her. LAM also finds NAM very difficult to deal with. LAM found some evidence that shows LUN betraying Ming Kit. KI gives LUN one more chance. However, LUN misunderstands that KI has reported the case to KIT. KI and LAM argue for how to handle LUN’s case.

KI accepts LUN who proposed to set up an abalone feeding plant in Philippines. MING comments LUN who is too aggressive and only sees the immediate advantages. KI does not take MING’s advice seriously which lays the seed of trouble. SHUN is very dissatisfied with KIT who still does not accept YAN particularly when she has already pregnant. LUN invites SHUN to be in league with him to take advantage at the abalone feeding plant. LAM carelessly breaks NAM’s clinic plate and points out that NAM is recently very absent-minded. NAM is very angry. CHAI is in great debt as he wanted to keep the hair saloon for PING’s sake. The debt collector bothers CHAI at Ming Kit. LAM helps CHAI to get rid of the debt collector. CHAI promises that he will work hard at Ming Kit. MAGGIE sends SHU to Swiss to fight for the sole agent right. MING collects information regarding Swiss for SHU. LOK eventually understands why MING is still a bachelor……

KI gives CHAI a lot of pressure. CHAI is very depressed. He even proposes to resign. KI rebukes CHAI terribly and even claims that CHAI could not live without him. CHAI argues with KI the first time for the sake of fulfilling his dream. KI finds that LOK’s current job has no prospect and intends to help him. However, LOK felt that it is an insult. YAN scolds KI and claims that SHU’s way of concern is a lot better that his. KI is very upset as his children misunderstood him and SHU is so successful in both family and work. KI finds himself a loser to SHU. KI gives opinion on the issue regarding the competition between SHU and Ming Kit of the sole agent right. LAM felt KI wants to help SHU and is very jealous. KA has changed a lot, she even joins force wit HUAN to make PANG and HIM reconcile. There is a political revolt in Philippines, LUN and SHUN fear that they will involve in big trouble. They intend to impute the fault to KI……

LUN and SHUN have disappeared. KI is forced to resigned. KI is at a loss. KIT invites LAM to replace KI. NAM invites everybody home for dinner to encourage KI. KA worries a lot for KI and also attends the dinner. However, KI does not show up. KA is very upset as she still does not reconcile with KI. HIM worries that KA will not return. However, KA has ordered HIM to renovate his home and furniture. HIM draws a new floor plan according to KA’s instruction. NAM blames LAM who does not take care of KI and returns home lately. NAM and LAM again quarrel with each other. Both NAM and LAM worry a lot for KI. LAM is very eager to find a job for KI. However, KI is very depressed. SHU points out that KI has his own plan in mind. LAM does not take SHU’s analysis. However, LAM finds out that KI does have a plan in mind as SHU predicted. LAM is very jealous.

KI goes fishing. SHU demands everybody to do their best so that KI will get no excuse to avoid his problem. KA returns to Ming Kit. Although HIM is reluctant to see KA leave, he encourages her. CHAI does not get PING’s indication. PING is mad. KA tells KI her hearty words. KI is excited and finds a job. LAM misunderstands that KI is taking up some low rank position. She is very dissatisfied. KI knew that MING likes SHU. He feels very distasteful. SHU supports KI. KI feels grateful for SHU’s support. MING encourages SHU to invite KI to join her managing MAGGIE’s company. KI’s boss is jealous at KI. Moreover, with SHU’s persuasion, KI decides to join SHU. LOK teases MING who again did something benefit his enemy. NAM takes some tincture mistakenly. She believes that she will die soon. She hands over her belonging and disappears. SHU knew NAM the best and finds her. LAM finds SHU more qualified to be KI’s wife.

HIM and KA date the first time. KA did not show up because KIT is sick. KI and SHU share the same view at work. They cope with each other well. LAM is very upset and finds that there is a distance between KI and her. SHU’s dream is what KI promised her when she fell into the coma. SHU wishes KI would enjoy fireworks together with her. YAN thinks that LAM is pregnant. In order to maintain her relationship with KI, LAM lies that she is pregnant. SHUN works as a waiter in a restaurant. KIT is heart-broken. KA and HIM date again. However, their meeting again calls off because of YING. YING stays in the FONG’s family and treats herself as one of the family member. She deliberately gets close to HIM in front of KA. KA is very embarrassed. KA goes up to the roof and finds that HIM has renovated it according to her dream place. She is moved. HIM guarantees that he will not re-unite with YING. However, KA still feels very depressed.

SHU risks her life to save LAM in a traffic accident. LAM feels ashamed of herself and tells KI the truth. KI denies that he loves SHU. LAM misunderstands that KI has gone to visit SHU. KI blames her thinking too much. LAM begs SHU not to compete with her for KI. SHU states that KI and her are only business partners. YING becomes an obstacle to KA and HIM’s relationship. HIM devises to propose YING to marry him. KA is shocked. KI and SHU work very hard to bid for the Ming Kit project. LAM sees that everybody does love SHU. She then takes revenge on SHU. KI is very dissatisfied. KI asks MING to take care of SHU. LUN and SHUN are being chased by their enemies due to their previous illegal deal. SHUN is being kidnapped. Besides KIT, there is still somebody who also worries a lot for SHUN.

KIT changes his impression on YING due to her passion and concern to SHUN. With LUN’s help, SHUN is saved. KIT forgives them and give them a chance. SHUN knew that YING is going to get married soon, he is very upset. With HIM’s indication, SHUN and YING eventually understand that they do love each other deeply. HIM again dates KA. However, something happens again delays their meeting. KI is suffered from heart attack. All send him to the hospital except LAM who is busy in a meeting. All pray for KI when he is having the operation. SHU delays her initial public offering plan for the sake of KI’s health. LAM eventually finds out what she loves the most. SHU, KA, KI and NAM have their own wishes respectively, can they fulfil their wishes? It all depends on a firework performance.
