It had a few good moments but overall I'm glad this one's done. It seemed like the series finale but I heard that it is renewed so Ray will swim.
I tell ya what, though. It's time to mothball the priest-molested-me foundation. They've spent too many seasons leaning on that. I thought they put a nail in it a few seasons ago but ohhh no, got to revisit it. Revisit it so hard that they put some junk in our face. wtf. It made for depth in the Donovan boy's characters early on. Now it's tedious.

Agreed. And still we are left with the feeling of having no resolution to the point where Ray can move on.
The other thing that really bothers me is Ray's disdain for Mickey. Yes, Mickey was a shitty father and husband. But guess what Ray? You won't be receiving any awards for father or husband of the year either.
Selling Mickey out was wrong and made me lose further respect for Ray. No matter how bad Mickey is...he always thought of family first.
Aye, Ray's vendetta against Mickey is way overplayed. I bought it when he was sicking Sully on him but the audience has been led down a path that redeems Mickey enough to make Ray a fanatic in his pursuit. Everyone else in the family seems to recognize it.
I am sad that Daryl, ever susceptible to manipulation, turned on Mickey. It'll make for a better season coming up, though.

Seeing Daryll bring the gun to Ray pained me. And, it freaking hurt Mickey and left him stunned.
Daryll knows what he did was f*ucked up. He's being used both by Ray and that piece of crap actor. I feel him being set up and not having those promises of Hollywood success kept.

Me too, it had almost become hard to watch- well, it was hard to watch a lot of times.

I am glad to hear that- I really hope next season is a whole lot better, RD just can't go out on a poorly written season.

Exactly this
...and does anyone really care that Bunchy's wife cheated on him? What was that about? Just have her leave the show and take Bridget with her. Seems like the writers don't know what to do with the character's anymore.
This episode felt like a suicide note – for Ray, and for the series (even though it has inexplicably been renewed for a 6th season). Ray goes into full psycho murdering mode not specifically to protect his family, but somehow connected to that utterly boring Sarandon subplot. This series HAS to end next season, with Ray in prison for the rest of his life, the culmination of the self-destructive, self-punishing path he's been on since Season One.

This show needs to be spun off into The Bunchy Bunch already. The time has come.

I guess I'm not the only who thinks this show is done and needs to go on life support. I am so damn bored!

I still like it but mostly because of Bunchy.
The show that needs to end is The Walking Dead.
