Discuss The Big Bang Theory

Borrowed the idea for this Thread from someone (don't thinking who) on the old Board. It's been a while; so, maybe it's time to do it again. Life is full of little annoyances; so go ahead...get it off your chest!

Well it used to be that if the original poster deleted their original post, the whole thing went away. But that's been changed.

There were two different pet peeves threads on the old board. I started one of them while sitting in a Chinese restaurant, and I can't remember who started the other one. They both went up into the three digits. Don't ask me how I remember that. I'm like a Rain man when it comes to facts about the old board. Also I hope I used that term correctly. I've never actually seen the movie Rain man. But I'm game! Pet Peeves are good topic.

I don't like it when people pull out in front of me on the road like there is no tomorrow, and then drive way too slow.

And a Sheldon Cooper.

Thanks for the info re: the old Board. I remember there being a lot of responses and I remember enjoying them and I remember seeing myself in a few of them.

Here's what's even scarier, FKA. I remember you responding to my pet peeve thread. I can't remember the specifics of your response but it had something to do with milk in the refrigerator, I think.

Don't remember. But, I'm not much of a milk-person; so, maybe that's why.

You got me there. I don't remember. But, I'm not much of a milk-person; neither am I a Rain Man-person nor a Sheldon Cooper-person; so, maybe that's why I don’t remember.

Pet Peeves:

1--Posts that disappear without explanation(s).

2--I don't like it when people pull out in front of me on the road like there is no tomorrow, and then drive way too slow.

3--That time-challenged member of your group who shows up late for everything.

4--People (& the word itself) who use the word whilst!

5--People who are talking on their phone and not paying attention to what’s going on around them, and step off the curve without looking…especially the ones who have the audacity to “flip you” for blowing your horn.

How do you feel about grammar NAZIs? After posting a brilliant piece explaining the meaning of life, somebody comes along and says: "You used to instead of too and you said _there _instead of _their _

They are definitely on my *&+%$# list…below plagiarizers; but certainly above those who never seem to have a substantive comment on a topic themselves, but are always bashing the heck out of what someone else has to say.

Or "you used crawdad instead of crayfish..."

Lemons How DARE YOU!!!! * Crawdad and Crayfish are the same word differentiated by sociologically different geographic regions. Do *NOT make me return to the original thesis regarding the Seven Years War. I _WILL _withhold brownies.

Do you want me to say crawdad in my Southern accent while I'm tickling you?

And when's my next story?

Young lady- I gave you an excellent story about Viking exploration. I think you owe me a brownie/escalator story.

You're the master storyteller, but OK. Give me a little time on this one. Like good brownies, it will have to be baked the proper amount of time to be good.
