Discuss Game of Thrones

My Theory: Jamie is disgusted with Cersei after her armies reject him as Commander.

His last option is to defect and attempt to change sides. He learns Dany has now assimilated the North into her army and they are at Winterfell preparing for the NK. He sends a message to Tyrion, who persuades Dany and Jon to Grant him an audience there.

He 1st pleads for forgiveness , for killing her father and for attempting to kill her. Dany's men all have weapons drawn and are at the ready in case she gives the order to kill him.

Dany is about to give the order until Jon and Tyrion convince her the great war takes precedence over vengeance.

Instead she orders his other hand removed as his punishment . Before it can be done , Tyrion begs for mercy on his behalf, and Jamie finally reveals that Cersei lied about helping them in the Great War, and he came not only to bend the knee but to change sides and fight for her now just as his brother did.

Dany reluctantly accepts and orders Jamie back to King's Landing to kill Cersei or die.

What do you guys think? I know it would insane for Jamie to go into enemy territory alone but crazier things have happened on this show.

It might even happen before that. I think he will be disgusted with Cersei since she is not concerned that there's a zombie army marching toward them to destroy civilization, and she would rather kill Danerys and the Starks, who are very much needed in the fight against The Night King. Then there's the matter that Cersei may be lying about something very important to Jamie (wink wink). We also don't know what The Night King really wants, or if he does want to kill everyone.

p.s. I'm never posting on that "other" site again. 👍

I have visions of the final scene being the Night King sitting on the Iron Throne.

To what end? If the night king kills everyone what/who is there left to rule?

All the undead.

And then what?

If all else fails, The Kingslayer(for all his flaws, dude's always been marginally more clever than The Stark men, even if not nearly as perspicacious as Tywin)could simply recognize that hanging around in Kings Landing whilst The Army of The Dead ravages Winterfell, possibly triples it's ranks is a loser's gamble. The waiting being the most agonizing part of an impending war, dude just decides to jump right into battle and rides North for this express purpose

Jamie has one of the most interesting story arcs for endgame. I think he plays a key role or he wouldn't still be around. He has to be redeemed for his greatest sin, which is Bran's assault. My guess is that he will be forgiven by Bran, thus being accepted into the group. It's time for him to pay his debts.

I'm wondering about this happening too. And the entire thing being one HUGE Zombie Apocalypse story.

The family and I were discussing end story for this GOT series. The consensus was nothing short of an ATOM BOMB would suffice . One thing came up though - if HODOR was 'created' by a desperate plea from the present , catapulted back in time , while Brando is present via vision with the 3 eyed ravine , and simultaneously in the real world ......MAYBE Brando- as the 3 eyed ravine - can goe back to the creation of the night king by the 'children of the forest', and prevent this from happening in the first place or better yet substitute himself for the night king.. .....

I think it will come down to Bran and the Night King. Bran will have to die to save the world.

i guess we were wrong about the night king , but how will Benjin starks words of council come true " When the time comes -you will know what to do!" [sounds so final].

I'm still not convinced that Bran survives ultimately. There are theories out there that all the mystical and fantasy elements will be casualties of the war. That would include Bran.

think your right, just not sure how things will PAN OUT? The fog of war was so confusing , I'm still not sure who lived and who died.
