NICK was besieged by the police but LING helped him escape. LING was caught instead NGAI called LAI for help. The Philippine police could not find NGAI. NGAI was caught by some Philippinos and they required TIM to pay up one million US dollars. TIM asked YIN for assistance but TIM was locked up by the police. YIN pretended to be LAI's lawyer to see TIM. YIN helped TIM to deliver the ransom but was shocked to see NGAI's killing on the spot. LAI acknowledged NGAI's death and bribed the Philippine police to kill TIM. Luckily TIM was saved by the troops who kidnapped HANG. HANG annouced his marriage to WAI. LAI hoped the YIP family to start having offsprings soon. CHUN knew LAI wanted grand kids so he took NING and her son home. LAI was pleased and named the boy PO TING. LAI felt CHUN was ambitious and HANG had no interests in commerce……
