Brighton in 1984. Pete , a teenage deck chair attendant meets a Swedish student on the beach.

Pete is saddened by Annika’s return home that he decides to leave his job and join her in Sweden.

Pete finds that moving to another country is not as easy as he thought. Struggling with the language and not being able to work takes it’s toll on the relationship.

Tragedy strikes.
