"A magical luchador mask chooses 13-year-old Mexican-American Violet Rodriguez to become the superhero Ultra Violet. After some hesitation, her uncle Cruz de la Vega, whose secret identity is Black Scorpion, decides to be her mentor. Violet also has to cope with school and her family, which is not easy for a teenager."
