As the eldest son in the family, KEI has to earn the living for the whole family after his father's death. Ile falls in love with RYAN, a girl his mother introduces to him and they get married soon. In a neat coincidence, he runs into LIN, a son from wealthy family, and they soon become very good friends. KEI makes up his mind to earn a better living in Hong Kong, and then leaves Lama Island.
