London., 1920. In the fortress, the Vampires are raided by a team of priests led by YAU LAP-YAT. Vampire Nicotine is injured, but survives. He is shipped to China with the help of servant WONG YAU-YEN.

In Sam Kong County of China, two power-minded landlords CHEUNG YUK-GAU and LAU TAI-PAU are manoeuvring over the post as the Chief of the County. CHEUNG outwits LAU and becomes elected.

A Chinese sorcerer NG WAI leads a team of living deads and passes by the county. He is made fun of by mischievous ghost CHUI SUET-YIM.

NG WAI gets the help of CHEUNG YAU-KAY to help SUET-YIM to get reincarnated. The ceremony is nearly done when Cheung interferes. Thinking that YAU-KAY and NG WAI are grave thieves, he has both arrested and imprisoned.

SUET-YIM becomes a living dead. She picks CHEUNG's wife to be the sacrifice for her reincarnation.

WONG arrives with a big black box inside which lies Count Nicotine……

SUET-YIM tempts CHEUNG's wife to commit suicide. CHEUNG comes home in time to stop her. Dawn comes and SUET-YIM slips away.

CHEUNG releases WAI and KAY, begging them to handle SUET-YIM. WAI has to lead the living dead. to their village for burial. He reminds KAY to handle SUET-YIM, the ghost.

LAU's people are robbed on their way transporting the black box. KAY witnesses the robbery and recognizes the robbers to be CHEUNG's assistants.

KAY is injured by CHEUNG who wants to kill him. KAY is rescued by LAU.

LAU learns of the trick CHEUNG has played on him, and decides for a revenge. His plan is to kidnap CHEUNG's daughter SIU-NING who studies in the town.

Count Nicotine escapes from the box and starts sucking blood everywhere.

CHEUNG’s daughter SIU-KING is taken hostage in LAU's house. She frees herself and gets a hold of LAU's son HAN-LEUNG as hostage. She would only free him when her father send people to take her home.

LAU meets CHEUNG, but lies to him that SIU-NING is held hostage. He demands for the black box in exchange of SIU-NING. CHEUNG panics at the news for he has no idea what is inside the box.

SIU-NING is having a good time bullying and preying on HAN-LEUNG.

Count Nicotine is caught by villagers for stealing chicken. They take out his fangs. He swears to revenge some day.

CHEUNG decides to raid LAU's house to rescue SIU-NING. Both camps start a fight. CHEUNG loses the fight. YAU-YEN appears in time as a living dead and rescue CHEUNG’s.

YAU-YEN saves CHEUNG and leads him to see Count Nicotine. Nicotine suggests a deal with CHEUNG. CHEUNG would help him establish his influence while he would help CHEUNG handle LAU.

HAN-LEUNG becomes sick. SIU-NING is touched by HAN-LEUNG's good nature and softens her attitude towards him. She nurses him and they gradually develops affection for each other.

Nicotine attempts to rescue SIU-NING but fails. LAU decides to cut off her ear as a warning to CEEUNG.. HAN-LEUNG strongly objects. LAU resolves to cut off CHEUNG's assistant, AH-LUNG's ear instead.

Nicotine goes to the Dentist shop to get a pair of false fangs.

HAN-LEUNG decides to release SIU-NING secretly.

Nicotine sneaks into LAU's house. Everybody has eaten garlic except LAU's first wife, SHUN. He sucks her blood.

KAY and CHING-CHING follows her and discovers that she is meeting Nicotine.

KAY casts a spell to catch Nicotine. LAU's wife helps Nicotine escape.KAY takes her home and tries to heal her of her disease. CHING-CHING sucks out the vampire poison from her and she is cured.

She is greatly fond of CHING-CHING and wants HAN-LEUNG to marry her. HAN-LEUNG is unwilling to, because he only loves SIU-NING.

SUET-YIM has entered into LAU-s house. She is touched by HAN-LEUNG's deep love for SIU-NING and decides to help him deliver his love letter to SIU-NING.

CHEUNG discovers that SIU-NING is meeting HAN-LEUNG secretly. He begs Nicotine to handle HAN-LEUNG.

Nicotine visits the LAUs and starts an affair with LAU's second wife WAN-KAM. WAN-KAM agrees to act as his spy for getting HAN-LEUNG. SUET-YIM helps HAN-LEUNG evade Nicotine's attack.

KAY summons his magic to force Nicotine to appear. WAN-KAM secretly upset the procure so that his magic does not work.

Nicotine escapes from KAY's magic. KAY begins to suspect there's an inside man who disrupts his plan.

WAN-KAM tries to seduce KAY and makes LAU believes that KAY has a mind to her. Though her plan does not work, it at least stops KAY's suspicion towards her.

Nicotine makes use of the eclipse of the sun to eradicate KAY. KAY is injured and is rescued by CHING-CHING.

KAY needs glutinous rice for driving out the vampire poison inside his body. WAN-KAM exchanges it with ordinary rice. KAY grows worse.

KAY knows that his disease is incurable. He begs LAU to take care of CHING-CHING. LAU arranges for HAN-LEUNG to marry CHING-CHING, disregarding his objection.

On the wedding night, HAN-LEUNG gets the help of SUET-YIM to go unnoticed to SIU-NING's house. SIU-NING keeps HAN-LEUNG in her room.

LAU discovers that HAN-LEUNG has disappeared and has his people search around for him. KAY turns into a vampire and goes wild seeking for human blood. CHING-CHING casts a spell to stop him temporarily.

Priest LAP-YAT arrives at SAM KONG county in the pursuit of Nicotine. He promises LAU to subdue the power of Nicotine and saves KAY.

CHEUNG discovers that HAN-LEUNG is hiding in SIU-NING's room. Thinking that he is the son of the Provincial governor, he is happy to let him stay on.

WAN-KAM secretly disrupt the plans of curing KAY. KAY becomes seriously sick.

KAY goes wild and wants to suck the blood of LAP-YAT. LAP-YAT uses his cross to resist. KAY finally gets pierced by the cross and dies.

CHING-CHING is grieved. She is determined to cooperate with LAP-YAT to eradicate Nicotine.

HAN-LEUNG walks in Nicotine's fortress and is bitten by him.

LAU discovers the affair between WAN-KAM and Nicotine. He wants to put her to death. LAP-YAT persuades LAU to let him handle WAN-KAM. LAU finally agrees.

LAP-YAT experiments with WAN-KAM's blood and discovers a medicine that can cure people with vampire-poisoning.

HAN-LEUNG has contacted vampire poisoning and gradually loses his right sense. Going wild, he attacks SIU-NING for blood.

LAP-YAT learns about HAN-LEUNG's predicament and decides to visit him.

Not wanting to hurt SIU-NING, HAN-LEUNG decides to leave. SIU-NING declares her devotion to him and makes him stay on. LAP-YAT and CHING-CHING pretend to be doctor and nurse and pay a visit to HAN-LEUNG. He injects the new medicine into him, and HAN-LEUNG gradually recovers. HAN-LEUNG tells them the hiding place of Nicotine. They set off for the fortress.

Nicotine has been waiting for them. He gets them into his trap. LAP-YAT is injured and both are imprisoned by CHEUNG.

HAN-LEUNG helps CHING-CHING and LAP-YAT escape.

CHING-CHING gets instructions from LAP-YAT to set off for the town's Church to secure the sacred nail to counter Nicotine. She hands to SIU-NING six injections for HAN-LEUNG for total recovery.

WAN-KAM bites LAU's third wife HUNG and possesses her body. LAU finds that WAN-KAM has died and are not aware that HUNG is now a vampire.

The Provincial Governor visits CHEUNG and discovers that HAN-LEUNG is not his son……

With the help of SUET-YIM, HAN-LEUNG and SIU-NING escape the pursuit of CHEUNG. SUET-YIM summons all her ghost friends to help holding a wedding ceremony for HAN-LEUNG and SIU-NING. The two get married.

LAU invites leader of Yellow Flower Gang, GUN to serve as mediator for negotiating with CHEUNG. CHEUNG has secretly asked Nicotine to handle GUN.

GUN is bitten by Nicotine and becomes a vampire. He attacks LAU and nearly succeeds to suck his blood when LAP-YAT appears to overpower him.

CHING-CHING reaches Kwanchow and finds the Church. She talks to the reverend father about the sacred nail. The father warns her of the great ordeals she has to overcome. With her determination and courage,

CHING-CHING succeeds in getting it.

HAN-LUNG and SIU-NING come to Kwanchow and start an independent life. HAN-LEUNG becomes a rickshaw driver. SUET-YIM shows great tenderness towards HAN-LEUNG, which meets the jealous eyes of SIU-NING……

CHING-CHING comes across HAN-LEUNG and learns with disappointment that he has got married with SIU-NING.

The Provincial Governor sends four officials to arrest CHEUNG. CHEUNG gets Nicotine's help to kill the four men. They throw the corpses into the river nearby LAU's house so as to put the blame on him.

The water is polluted by the corpses. To find out who has contacted the poison, LAP-YAT undertakes a blood test for all the villagers. HUNG uses a trick to avoid the blood test. LAP-YAT discovers that the blood of a pregnant woman is immuned from vampire poisoning.

HUNG devises a plan to make the villagers believe that LAP-YAT is actually the vampire. LAP-YAT is heavily beaten. SHUN helps him to escape.

LAP-YAT dies on the way. But his will is still strong. His spirit meets SUET-YIM who explains to him that every man has three spirits. Now his mischievous spirit has left him. His body could be revived if he finds it……

SUEZ-YIM goes down to hell searching for LAP-YAT's mischievous spirit. It slips away too quickly for her. Not wanting LAP-YAT's body to decay, SUET-YIM resolves to lend her spirit to LAP-YAT for his revival. With SUET-YIM's spirit, LAP-YAT becomes half and half-ghost.

CHEUNG tricks CHING-CHING into revealing the purpose of the sacred nail. He lets her escape with a false nail back to LAU's house.

LAP-YAT unknowingly uses the false nail to produce a bullet and finds it ineffective in killing Nicotine. As he is pursued by Nicotine in return, NG KONG passes by with his team of living deads. SUET- YIM casts a spell using the living deads as weapon against Nicotine. Nicotine is defeated and escapes.

LAU employs NG as his guard. SUET-YIM agrees to cooperate with NG. She will help him conduct the team while NG would go searching for LAP-YAT's spirit.

CHEUNG uses the genuine sacred nail to produce a bullet……

LAP-YAT is touched by SUET-YIM's affection for him and vows for his devotion. SUET-YIM is pleased.

HAN-LEUNG goes thirsty for blood. SIU-KING has used up all chicken blood. As a last resort, she uses her own blood to feed him.

The Provincial Governor Chui's son is a spend-thrift. He tricks HAN-LEUNG into helping him to cheat his father's money.

HAN-LEUNG aches to find that SIU-NING has used her own blood to feed him. SIU-NING resvoles to buy blood from the prisoners' guard.

Nicotine appoints with CHEUNG for a showdown. As they are about to engage in a fight, LAP-YAP appears with the team of living deals. Nicotine displays his newly-gained power of splitting into four and defeats LAP-YAT, who escapes. CHEUNG pretends to be pacified by Nicotine.

To subdue Nicotine, LAP-YAT needs one thing that Jesus Christ has touched. CHING-CHING sets off to Kwanchow to seek help from the reverend father.

The spendthrift Chui wants to cheat his father's money again. HAN-LEUNG fails to get money and is dismissed.

CHINGCHING misses the father who has gone back to Vatican. She returns to SAM KONG county disappointed.

SUET-YIM is upset at LAP-YAT-s tender feelings towards CHING-CHING. In a big quarrel, she leaves his body. LAP-YAT loses one spirit and drops dead.

Thinking that LAP-YAT has died, Nicotine starts attacking the CHEUNGS. He kills CHEUNG's wife and pursues CHEUNG to LAU's house. CHEUNG and LAU reconciles and join hands in confronting Nicotine. CHING-CHING succeeds in persuading SUET-YIM to return to LAP-YAT's body. Together with the power of the living deads, they catch Nicotine.

CHEUNG uses the bullet and shoots at Nicotine, who becomes fatally wounded.

LAU and CHEUNG celebrates for the death of Nicotine, without knowing that HUNG has actually saved him……

HAN-LEUNG is talked into agreeing to get the ransom from the provincial Governor.

Secretary Law kills the Governor's son by accident and put the blame on HAN-LEUNG.

CHINO-CHING learns that HAN-LEUNG is arrested and is to be executed soon. She goes to see the Governor and is granted seven days to find the real murderer.

CHING-CHING gets the help of LAP-YAT to cast a spell which allows her to take a trip to hell. CHINGCHING sees the spirit of the spendthrift who does not know who murdered him. On her way back to earth, CHING-CHING catches the mischievous spirit of LAP-YAP: But she finds herself stuck on the way. It is because Secretary Law has interrupted with LAP-YAT's magic and the spell is brok

CHING-CHING is saved by the reverend father who returns from Vatican. LAP-YAT gets back his spirit and becomes a proper man again.

Secretary Law uses cunning means to make the Provincial Governor believe that HAN-LEUNG is the real murderer.

CHING-CHING is at her wits' end to save HAN-LEUNG. She asks SIU-NING to seek help from CHEUNG and LAU.

Seeing that HAN-LEUNG is severly tortuned by the Provincial Governor, she casts a spell to detach his spirit from his body in order to lessen his pain.

SIU-NING reaches home and tells about HAN-LEUNG's plight. It is decided that only NG WAI with his team of living deads can save HAN-LEUNG.

LAU and the team reach Kwanchow and meet CHING-CHING. CHING-CHING joins hands with another sorcerer TING to conduct the team of living deads in robbing from the execution court. They succeed in rescuing HAN-LEUNG.

However, they fail to escape from Kwanchow and are arrested by the Provincial Governor.

Through many difficulties, CHING-CHING finally convinces the Provincial Governor that Secretary Law is the murderer. HAN-LEUNG is set free.

Everybody returns to SAN KONG county. LAU wants to arrange for the marriage between HAN-LEUNG and SIU-NING. But SHUN objects.

SHUN insists that CHING-CHING be the first wife of HAN-LEUNG, but CHEUNG objects. CHING-CHING overhears their conversation and decides to withdraw.

SHUN becomes suspicious of HUNG and starts questioning her. HUNG kills SHUN and lies to people that SHUN is drowned.

CHEUNG discovers that Nicotine is still alive. He is forced to swallow a pill which will explode if CHEUNG tells the whereabout of Nicotine.

CHEHNG tries to hint at LAU several times that HUNG is Nicotine's assistant. Hut LAU fails to take the hint.

SIU-NING finds CHEUNG's behaviour weird. She is about to have a talk with him when all of a sudden CHEUNG seems to catch fire and is burnt down to death.

LAU thinks that CHEUNG has committed suicide because of his secret love for HUNG. He insists marrying HUNG to CHEUNG's ghost.

NG WAI detects HUNG's unusual behaviour. HUNG kills him before he has a chance to make known his finds.

The team of living deads launch their attack against HUNG, to avenge for the death of NG. HUNG is forced to a fight. At his point, Nicotine has recuperated and comes to HUNG's rescue.

LAU goes alone to the fortress and is sacrificed. HUNG dies too. HAN-LEUNG arrives and starts a duel with Nicotine and is defeated. LAP-YAT comes in time to rescue him.

LAP-YAT leads the villagers to flee away from SAM KONG county. On the way, HAN-LEUNG goes wild again because of vampire poisoning. At this point, LAP-YAT discovers CHING-CHING in a Taoist temple.

Inside the temple, LAP-YAT discovers a stone monument on which is carved the way to eradicate Nicotine. Nicotine's is only afraid of a man who is the combination of a heavenly spirit, an earthly being and a ghost. TING claims himself to be the one and goes to challenge Nicotine. He is defeated. SUET-YIM's spirits are disintegrated.

There is a secret chamber inside the temple. They discover a holy sword and a script. HAN-LEUNG seeks the help from the reverend father to decipher the script.

On his way, HAN-LEUNG is arrested by Nicotine. SIU-NING tries to help but is arrested too.

Nicotine hypnotizes HAN-LEUNG and orders him to destroy the holy sword. CHING-CHING arrives in time to stop him.

The reverend father studies the script and declares that HAN-LEUNG is the chosen man to destroy Nicotine. The father sacrifices himself to grant him the holy power for the duel.

A virgin's blood is needed to empower the holy sword……
