A young cardfighter, Kamui Katsuragi, heads towards Card Capital in order to become the strongest cardfighter. Kai nominates Aichi, who happens to be at the shop, to fight Kamui.

Kai recollects hanging out with Ren and Tetsu of Team AL4, and his reunion with Aichi, upon knowing that Ren paid a visit to Card Capital.

Ibuki's heart rejects the power of Deletors out of fear. Discarding his deck, Ibuki decides to quit Vanguard for good. However, he is stopped by Leon, who coincidentally paid a visit to the Tatsunagi Mansion.

Shinemon is now a 4th-year university student. He's supposed to enter the deciding match with his teammates as representatives of Japan, but Rive starts using a new deck with a clan he has never seen before in the tournament.
