  1. It is immensely hard to believe that the Taylor house interior is only on a sound stage set as it looks so genuinely homey and inviting. But, fact, it is in a warehouse-type building.
  2. Barney's character is good but uneven. He is scripted to like his time alone with a lady (good fact by itself) and yet he crashes Andy's time with women horribly and like a pestilence on both Andy and the woman he is dating.

Yeah, you would think he would have caught on a lot quicker that Andy wanted to be alone with his ladies. I guess they were more concerned about getting laughs than character creation?
