Discuss One Step Beyond

The story takes around April 1945. Klink himself ( Werner Klemperer) plays Bautmann, a very high ranking Nazi official. He and the U-Boat crew hear constant banging all over the ship. Host John Newland claimed it was a true story and that a museum actually in Connecticut had the very tool that was found on a skelton buried in like the ceiling of the U-Boat. I searched online for info about this and found about none. An IMDb review of the ep said it was a lie by Newland and writers.
