Budget values - original or adjusted for inflation?

the values reported here are the original ones (of the production year) or if they are adjusted for inflation

Can someone point me on a direction to a method for adjusting the budget values for inflation?

They are not adjusted for inflation, unless someone incorrectly entered the adjusted amount they found

A forum search on "inflation" returns [this result](https://www.themoviedb.org/talk/search?

You can't make this up.

They print it out of thin air and that's why we have inflation.

Revenue of the movies

Are they inflation adjusted?

This value is close to the inflation adjusted value for the film.

The BIBLE says revenue values are not to be inflation adjusted. Yet, such is the case.

checked the changelog on Gone with the Wind and it looks like a user incorrectly changed it to the inflation

Revenue

revenue information from the APIs, but I was wondering if these revenue numbers have been adjusted by inflation

language=cs-CZ#59f73b759251416e71000007) the budget and revenue shouldn't be adjusted for inflation.

On TMDB budged and revenue aren't adjusted for inflation unless some contributor made a mistake.

Why does the movie industry not count number of tickets sold?

At least add "when adjusted for inflation" at the end of that sentence. Jeez.

Besides, inflation counts for the money used to make a movie too.

It's not just inflation as movie prices have gone up way beyond regular inflation rates.

They already take into account inflation, that should be enough.

RIP Ryan O'Neal (1941-2023)

(**Love Story** is one of the highest-grossing films of all time, if adjusted for inflation.)

Films with budget and revenue in other currencies?

The budgets seem very low without accounting for inflation, but it is understood that people are aware

of inflation and that a budget in 1960 can't be directly compared to one in 2010 or 2017.

Oh I see, so you don't need to apply the inflation, just currency convert it to how it was back then

Bond Box Office: Inflation and Population Adjusted

year of Spectre's release to give a multiplying factor which can be used alongside the usually seen inflation

I just did this because people commonly point to inflation adjusted box office figures which I think

I won't include it in the list but assuming the proximity to Octopussy allows the same inflation and

My only claim was that what is the commonly displayed inflation adjusted figures aren't in themselves

with Dalton nearing the bottom is common to both lists so maybe generally it's a better indicator than inflation

Looking at the figures above, and the inflation adjusted and ROI figures from the link above there's

You have to eat 8 modern day apples to obtain the same nutritional value of an apple from the '70s.

With inflation, an apple from 1973 is 5¾ more nutritious than an apple made today.

Roger Moore may not be the best Bond...

Sir Roger certainly sustained the success of the series, as can be seen by the population / inflation

One particular death shocked me.

The shop keeper selling a can of soda at the price of inflation. The gang in the back lot.
