How long does it take for the updated media to be released?

I have a question about TMDB. When I edit or update various data about films, is this data checked before it is approved? And how long does such a check take? I use Jellyfin software for my films, and since data is often missing there, I add it here at TMDB. But somehow the data there never seems to update.

And one more question. You can also link to actors' websites. Fan sites are not allowed. That's clear. But what about websites run by agencies that collect data on actors, or wiki entries? Are these also not allowed?

No it is not checked, and there is no approval process. although moderators may at some point come across it and change or remove it if they deem it to be wrong,

Due to the caching process, it can take up to 8 hours for the changes to be available in the API.
