The Movie Database Support

Is there support for the "adult" flag on non-API search without the tmdbprefs cookie?
https://www.themoviedb.org/search/movie?query=taboo&include_adult=true doesn't seem to work.

If not, could that be added?

Thanks!

I just tested it and got the correct answer.
https://api.themoviedb.org/3/search/movie?api_key=THE_KEY&language=en-US&query=Taboo&page=1&include_adult=true
If you are making the API Request with the Token, try doing the same as mine with the API Key.
And tell me if it worked.

Thanks for checking, but it looks like you're using the API search. I'm looking for a non-API solution via the normal search page without requiring login.

Understand.
Check your profile for the option chosen to view adult movies.
https://www.themoviedb.org/settings/account
See if it is Yes or No.

Correct, my profile is set to yes. I'm hoping there's another way without having to set a cookie by just adding a query string parameter. It exists for the API but doesn't seem to for the normal search page.

Sometimes this parameter behaves strangely.
Despite being selected YES, it behaves as if selected NO.
So I suggest that if YES is selected, select NO and save.
Then search with the term Taboo.
You shouldn't get anything in the reply.
Then change the option to YES again and save.
And do the search for the term Taboo again.
You should probably get the correct answers.

Thanks for your help. I'm not having any issues with the behavior.

I would like to be able to share a search results page that includes adult movies. Currently, the recipient would need to create an account and enable the adult flag in order to see them.

I know there is an "include_adult" query string option for the API, but that option does not work for the search page. I'm wondering if there is a different option or if there's any other way to accomplish this other than using the API to build an app around it. Alternately, I'm wondering if that functionality could be added.

Thank you.

In a search here on the website the only additional parameter supported is for the year the movie was released, adding y:1954 for example.
I don't know any other parameters to search here on the website.
As for the possibility of implementing this new feature, only administrator Travis Bell can answer.

I really don't think it's a good idea.
The default parameter is Adult false.
So all the kids won't get data from pornographic movies.
Adding this feature will allow for a much wider spread of pornographic movies.

Sorry, but you have a full adult video in your export file, but it is not marked as adult. Can you do something with it?
