Is there a way for us to include items in our lists that no one else would have? For example, I have many discs of concerts that my choir has performed. I'd like to have them on my own lists so that I can browse to them in my collection, but I don't want to add them to the main user database.

TMDb has 4 types of lists for users.
watchlist, favorites, rated and users list.
For a Movie or Series to be in any of these 4 types of lists,
the Movie or Series must necessarily exist in the TMDb Database.
It is not possible to add a Movie to a list without it existing in the Database.
And your choir's performance films probably don't meet the rules for being added here on TMDb.
When you say "my own lists" I assume you are referring to one of the 4 types of lists I mentioned above.
If your collection is in files on your computer, on Kodi for example,
and you want to see these movies of yours in this Kodi list,
you need to add the movies on Kodi only.
As I said above, your choir's performance films probably don't meet the rules to be added here on TMDb.

Thanks for the answer(s).
The bulk of my collection is lining the walls of my apartment in DVD & various PC formats saved to DVD, so I don't know of other Kodi/Plex type apps that will allow me to see the items that aren't residing on my hard drives.
I'd be happy to learn differently, but I just haven't found anything I like that will help me keep track of what is on my walls.
So, I may have to just keep the DVD Profiler program, which DOES allow for Individualized entries for the non-TMDB items.
Any better options/databasing sites that allow for these types of entries with a fairly clean on-screen look.

My family's DVD collection is all in my brother's country house.
Kodi has a system for storing data from physical disks.
Our entire DVD collection is on Kodi.
If you find the Kodi interface interesting or better, I can give you some information on how to add your DVDs to Kodi.
