Possible Site Bug: Multiple Entries for field TVDB ID

I reported this issue already within the problematic show, however, i think it is worth to mention the issue separately. I tried to fix some of the mess that was (is) American Dad, mostly German Episode description. When I tried to change the Field for external sources, TVDBID (which pointed to wrong ids, Season 10) i noticed, that the field, while unlocked, still didn't change when modifying. However, looking into the modification history, i clearly could see that there was a change, and indeed, it seems those episodes have (had) now 2 entries for tvdb id. Besides the fact I cannot use those id for the correct episode (There are 4 left, they usually are just swapped), it isn't even possible to make any change on the external source site, because the site mourns now, that the id which is within the tvdbid field, was already taken and points to itself in the error requester.

So the issue is that the TVDB IDs can not be removed/replaced?

this and that those episodes in question now store multiple values for tvdb id (which should not be possible)

Sure, I ran a script anyway to check. It is , however, only able to check against tvdb, I didn't care much about imdb. If it is on the api, it will be very easy. I guess i have to wait some time though, because right now I might get a cached version.

Script says, no wrong ids for S01E01 -> S14E15 rest is missing. (They could still be outdated, as I only check against my kodi database, if an episode was deleted and re-added later, i can't check them.). So , well done! I will close my reports for American Dad. If you don't mind, there is another Show/Episode, this one should be trivial however, as it is just missing a "2" at the end. Unfortunately it is locked, so I can't do it myself.

Ah, one more question, as I have to check around 300 more shows, I might stumble over more defective ids. Should this topic stay opended, and I report them here, or should I just report them new, if i spot any?

Hm, good question. I actually prefer it here in this topic, but then the reference to each show is lost and someone might be confused about it. So, I think it's better to make a report for each show for more transparency -> and I close this topic here.
