I just think there is a 6500~7000 Persian movie/series in the world, according to IMDb (and it can be more).
Since I started my contributing job in TMDb, I faced a lot of mistakes about the transcription process of them, which means writing words from a foreign language to Latin - not translating them. Unfortunately, there are many ways to convert them into the Persian language.
Of course, there is a new Persian Romanization system approved by the UN in 2012 (You can find the source at the end of the message), But still many people don't know it.
For example, You can write "طناز طباطبایی" as "Tanaz Tabatabaei, Tannaz Tabatabaei, Tanaz Tabatabayi, Tannaz Tabatabayi." (According to that standard, it MUST BE Tannaz Tabatabayi) and many people (/contributors) still make the same mistake for thousand of names cause they didn't read that standard and maybe never going to read. It's not just happening in TMDb; even you can find many of them in Google or other sources, but they are continually improved.
Briefly, I just want to say I can change many of wrong words based the last approved standard in a long-term schedule and In this case, it can turn TMDb to the best source ever known for Persian Movies in WHOLE PLANET(!), but Who can guarantee that if I edit all of them, no one can change back them to the wrong spell? :( Besides, I'm not a moderator to lock the titles, and the whole process can be wasted.
I love TMDb, and I really want to help to keep it up better than any other movie's sources. Just please tell me what I should suppose to do?
