The Movie Database Support

The Lover 1992 is listing with Original Movie language as French. But both wikipedia and IMDB list it as English, and English and Vietnamese are the only languages spoken in the movie. The way this field appears to be used would it not be clearer it if was called Original Movie Title Language as opposed to Original Movie Language ?

Hi, again, Jerome.

It appears you're referring to this movie.

I see multiple moderators have responded about / discussed that on a past Content Issues thread. Here's that thread.

I have read both threads in that link and it seems that field is causing confusion to others as well. I think I'll also give the bible a thorough review as well before making any modifications.

So based on the threads regarding this field the movie 48 Hours to Live (1959) which is currently marked as English should really be marked as Swedish. Would that be a correct interpretation?

I've never personally seen the film you mentioned, so am not familiar with its presentation. However I see that IMDb indicates it to be a Swedish/UK co-production, with the original and spoken language being English. TMDb matches IMDb's details.

Having said that, a regular contributor (not a moderator) is the sole person who added the TMDb listing, so may have simply duplicated the details that IMDb indicates.
