The Movie Database Support

The app I built a few years back used this query with no problem: https://api.themoviedb.org/3/discover/movie?primary_release_date.gte=1992&primary_release_date.lte=2019 But now it results in "total_results":0

After some digging, it appears that this query format is now necessary: https://api.themoviedb.org/3/discover/movie?primary_release_date.gte=1992-01-01&primary_release_date.lte=2019-01-01 Results: "total_results":10000

Any reason why it has changed? Seems like it happened around the time of the TMDB outage a month back. Also is there any other query format rules to be aware of?

Cheers, Mark
