So, the contrbution bible says that the "Name" should be:
The primary stage name someone uses.
So, I would think that for most drag queens, that means using their drag queen name (as opposed to their legal name).
However, most, not including the ones I just added, of the drag queens I've seen on the db, have their legal name as the "Name" (and their drag queen/stage name might have been placed under "Also Known As"). Some have both their legal and stage (drag queen) name under their "name", i.e. "D.J. "Shangela" Pierce ". What should it be?

I would think so too. It makes sense to use the stage name for any performer best known as/always credited with their drag queen names. For example, RuPaul is simply RuPaul.
However, D.J. Pierce also has a career as an actor and seems to be alternatively credited as D.J. Pierce, Shangela and D.J. Shangela Pierce. So in this specific case, I think D.J. "Shangela" Pierce is the right call.
