The Movie Database Support

I am collecting data for a statistical project I am currently working on. One of the goals is trying to find the ratio of budget/revenue for films. I have noticed that some films have their budgets listed as 0 (such as the 2017 movie "XX") while on sites such as wikipedia it is reported to be $2,000,000 and on others the revenue number is also incorrect, such as on the 2007 film "Triangle", which TMDB has reported to be $260 when wikipedia says $1,300,000 - $1,600,000. Am I using the API incorrectly or is this an actual issue? I have pulled all the films from 1980 to 2018 and there are 3251 films where either their revenue or their budget is 0 and while for some it may be the case I do not think it would be the case for approx. 1/2 the movies from 1980-2018.

Hi, I'll answer your questions below.

some films have their budgets listed as 0

This just means that the data has not been entered yet. Feel free to contribute if you know the correct number.

on others the revenue number is also incorrect, such as on the 2007 film "Triangle", which TMDB has reported to be $260 when wikipedia says $1,300,000 - $1,600,000.

This was obviously a mistake by whoever added it. I have fixed it.
