The Movie Database Support

Im using the .lte=PG certification api, and its showing a TON of definitely not PG content. Is this because the content somehow states PG or lower, or is it because it does not state a certification at all?

This is only like 2 shown, theres like a good 10-20% of all of em being non pg. https://i.imgur.com/S0PMiIE.jpg

It's looks like a data thing. Just looking at one specific example, mother! you can see it has a US release added without a certification. That would be getting included.

You can use certification instead of certification.lte to make sure you're only getting the specific certification you're looking for.

This could also be a use case for a certification.gte filter where by you could filter for G and above. Or perhaps a certification.nin filter where you can just skip NR's... lots of options to think about. wink

certification.gt and .nin is an option? its not shown in https://developers.themoviedb.org/3/discover/movie-discover

certification.nin does literally nothing on my end for /movie-discover

Also im already doing the gte and lte, yet it still gets NR titles.

For example, certification.gte=G&certification.lte=PG still gets me NR.

No, what I was saying is that those would all be useful filters to help with your issue. None of them are available at this time.

Ahh my bad, also you mentioned giving certification without lte a shot, I see what your saying but im attempting to get for ex, G->PG. Does it support pipe (|)?

Unfortunately, it doesn't support pipe either.

I have an open ticket for certification.gte which would be what you're after. I can't think of another way to do it.

Is there a way to put the certification in the response for manual editing?
