Hi Before I start to translate "The World from above" some questions. My profile is french; In english search i've only s1e1. In french i add seasons 2-8. Now i've for the seasons english and the most of time french episode titles. With my french profile I can add french episodes to the seasons, but sometime i've only the english informations! Workaround = use english episodes title like placeholder in french And when i have the french title, I update the "french" title, and lost the english title. Somebody know a better way. Merci Michael

I'll try to give you an answer, but I'm not 100% I understand your question ... :wink:

My profile is french;
In english search i've only s1e1.
In french i add seasons 2-8.

Hm, that's not possible. The main structure of seasons and episodes is always created for all languages, and you can access this structure as soon as a show is translated in any potential language.

Now i've for the seasons english and the most of time french episode titles. With my french profile I can add french episodes to the seasons, but sometime i've only the english informations!

Your profile language does not matter regarding the creation of episodes/seasons! For example, when you create episode 6 of season 8 of any show in your French profile, this new created episode will also show up when you change your profile language to English or German or any other language. Here, look at your show:

https://www.themoviedb.org/tv/71551-the-world-from-above/season/6/episode/8/edit?active_nav_item=primary_facts&language=en-US -> English
https://www.themoviedb.org/tv/71551-the-world-from-above/season/6/episode/8/edit?active_nav_item=primary_facts&language=fr-FR -> French
https://www.themoviedb.org/tv/71551-the-world-from-above/season/6/episode/8/edit?active_nav_item=primary_facts&language=de-DE -> German

Episode 6 of season 8 was created one time only, and it's available in all translated languages now.

Workaround = use english episodes title like placeholder in french And when i have the french title, I update the "french" title, and lost the english title. Somebody know a better way.

Yes, you have to change the (translated) language in the drop down menu on the right next to the episode title according to the language you want to add! Not the language of your profile! For example - look at this episode from your show:

https://www.themoviedb.org/tv/71551-the-world-from-above/season/3/episode/4/

With your French profile, do you see the title "South Carolina - Mepkin Abbey to Hilton Head Island" right now? Which is probably wrong, because that's the English title, isn't it? All you have to do now is:

1.) Cut the episode title "South Carolina - Mepkin Abbey to Hilton Head Island" from here.
2.) Change the drop-down menu on the right next to the title to "English".
3.) Paste the episode title "South Carolina - Mepkin Abbey to Hilton Head Island" here: https://www.themoviedb.org/tv/71551-the-world-from-above/season/3/episode/4/edit?active_nav_item=primary_facts&language=en-US

That's all. Basically, you have to understand the difference between your profile language (French) and the language of the content you want to add (all available languages). Don't change your profile language when you add content in different languages -> just the (translated) language! :writing_hand_tone3:

Hi Janar Thanks for your reponse. But since my first post, and before your answer, I've add seasons 2-8, and episode 1.2 to 7.x. It's like you tell, and probably like expected. I don't change nothing in my profile, I'm in french. But when I created episodes, everytime i've know the origin english title, and sometime the french title. When I can i use the french title, when I haven't I use (in french) the english title like place holder.Later when I found (it's recorded infos) the english title go away. Also when another "foreign language" contributor will update his own language, he can found only the french episode translation. That isn't good, because (for documentary)sometime I spend long time to found the relation between french and "origin" title/episode number. When now another "foreign language" contributor try to translate he can only use for search the french translation of the origin US titre. Michael
