ability to subscribe/watch discussion boards about movies/tv/people we are interested in

If you want people to discuss subjects they're interested in instead of just trolling random discussion boards, I respectfully recommend adding the ability to subscribe/watch individual boards so that they can be notified when people post on discussions they're interested in. Why can you only subscribe/watch if no one has posted in the discussion yet?
I appreciate this site/forum and I know I've mentioned this before. I am asking again because I'm curious to know, why isn't this implemented? Maybe if not an email, we could at least have a place where we can see all discussions posted about movies/tv/people that we have favorited? Thanks.

Yup, you'll see that this feature already exists when there's no discussions present. It's just a matter of exposing the control when there is some discussions. That and then having a page to see the boards you've subscribed to.
It's on my list.
