Is there a way to delete all posts from a particular page/thread without having to delete each post 'within' the thread? I still see my avatar on the pages that I have deleted all my posts, unsubscribed to that thread and still see them listed on my discussion page.

No. I'm not sure what you endgoal is, but if you don't want your avatar to show up in "Users in this discussion" or see the threads in your discussion page, you can click on "Stop Watching". thinking

Thanks. I thought that removing my posts and 'unsubscribing' would have fixed that.
