It depends what 'they' you're referring to. I post mostly on the Beyonce board. There are a lot of off topic threads there, but virtually none which are troll-ish or otherwise inappropriate.

Didn't even imply that. Just odd that almost the moment people are going OT there are threats of being banned, yet two trolls have been basically almost making that board unusable for 2 days now and not one word has been said to them yet.

It just makes it seem like some are allowing the trolling as some underhanded effort to drive those they don't want out of here...

People need to grow up and stop being such babies. I'm sure the people complaining here could have solved their own problem with a few clicks of the mouse instead of bothering mods with their pettiness.

I hope the same applies to the Beyonce forum as the Walking Dead forum, I've got nothing against the people posting on the Beyonce board as most of them don’t seem to be trolls, but it’s just topic after topic on any issue but Beyonce, if they wanna talk about some other film star or performer just use the boards as they were designed to be used. It just seems lazy or naive that they post stuff on the Beyonce forum all the time.

The problem is not for us regulars, but for new users who would justly get turned off by so much spamming.

To be fair, when I first signed up here there wasn't even one thread created on her board yet. And you haven't posted in there until just recently. How frustrated can you be when you apparently had no interest in posting there?

Also, unless you're being heckled and not allowed to speak your mind, what difference does it make? There are plenty of threads in there which are Beyonce-related, and many of the same OT posters post in there and stay on topic too.

No, I agree that people who make these complaints are often not actually interested in having conversations.

I also agree that if those peope get banned, the boards they are posting on will become inactive, and the complainers will vanish.

I don't think mods should get involved in these petty disputes. On the one hand it will just encourage people to harrass mods with more complaints, and on the other it will kill boards. Unless it involves threats, doxing, stalking or spamming of a board to the point that on Topic posts get buried, then leave people to deal with it themselves.
