Hey there,
so I'm trying to use the wrapper 'themoviedbapi'.
For my first steps to understand the wrapper I wrote a main-Method in a new package called 'tmdb_api_to_db' with following code:
package tmdb_api_to_db;
import info.movito.themoviedbapi.TmdbApi;
import info.movito.themoviedbapi.TmdbMovies;
import info.movito.themoviedbapi.model.MovieDb;
public class Test {
public static void main(String[]args){
TmdbMovies movies = new TmdbApi("########################").getMovies();
MovieDb movie = movies.getMovie(5353, "en");
}
}
Unfortunately this results in following message:
SLF4J: Failed to load class "org.slf4j.impl.StaticLoggerBinder".
SLF4J: Defaulting to no-operation (NOP) logger implementation
SLF4J: See http://www.slf4j.org/codes.html#StaticLoggerBinder for further details.
I never worked with slf4j nor I have any idea what I'm doing wrong. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong? Even if I need to bind the slf4j-bundle to the wrapper - I have no idea how to do this? The documentation is all greek to me..
Edit: Forgot to tell you: I'm using Eclipse Neon on Windows 7.

Guess I figured it out. Seems like there is a dependency missing in the pom.xml of the project of 'themoviedbapi' causing this error. Adding
resolved the error. Hope this helps anybody searching for a solution for the same problem...Reply by Travis Bell
