Hi damseize,

Please be sure to read the documentation.

http://docs.themoviedb.apiary.io/#get-%2F3%2Fmovie%2F{id}%2Fcasts

I already read that, but what I am looking for is a way to when I search movies by name, have with the movie list result, the casting included.

Hey damesize,

Sorry, I didn't realize you we're asking about a search request. Who didn't read now?! (Me). :(

No, there isn't any way to get the cast lists from a search request. You will have to go out do a separate request.

Ok, thanks anyway.

Hi together, I need the answer for this question too. How do you get the casting list for a movie found by a search result for a film? I don't have to search through all the actors for acting in my film search save in the database, I think so.

Please give an idea how you get the casting list for a movie!

thanks

Hi @MarkusC,

You will need to query each ID, and call the /credits method. Best thing to do is use append_to_response. There's an example document that outlines this workflow here.
