The Movie Database Support

Hi Travis, per your request i'm re-posting my message from yesterday:

checking out today's requests, i saw that the value of most of the getMovieInfo's responses release dates is 1900-01-01. Is this normal, will the release dates be updated, is it an issue at your side?

Please let me know.

The attachments can be found in my previous message: http://help.themoviedb.org/discussions/problems/1153-getmovieinfo-released-weird-values

Thanks.

Marko

Hey Marko,

Looking up the release info on v3 seems to show me the correct results:

http://api.themoviedb.org/3/movie/32406/releases?api_key=###

Where exactly are you seeing this?

Hey Travis,

these are just a few of many examples i ran into:

http://www.themoviedb.org/movie/32406 http://www.themoviedb.org/movie/31422 http://www.themoviedb.org/movie/32096

And btw. we're using API 2.1.

Some of the old entries appear to be correct, but as said, there are literally hundreds of movies with released dates that seem messed up.

Thanks for the reply.

Hey Marko,

2.1 was officially EOL'd around 6 months ago and is no longer being maintained or supported. I couldn't tell you why it changed but if you want to get the proper values you should upgrade to v3.
