Set in a distant and unknown land, the film follows the journey of a young woman named Yssabeau and ventures deep into a culture full of unknown rules and rituals. What kind of creatures are these that Yssabeau encounters? Driven on by her curiosity, she tries to adapt and follow the movements of these strange ‘others’. Her deepest impulses, values and beliefs are all thrown into question. How much of herself can be removed from her before she can no longer call herself "myself"?

X's unconditional love for fascinating writer Y starts during her high school days. X, who left her hometown after her mother's remarriage begins to work in a dress shop. Her affections for Y lead her to give herself to him. On the year baby Y' turns 5, she reunites with Y on his birthday but he does not remember her. When baby Y' dies from illness, X sends Y an account of her 12 year love and ends her life.

This was an animated promotional video that Falcom commissioned for Ys IV: The Dawn of Ys game for PC Engine, to shop around to various production houses. This was done in hopes of getting it made into a full-scale animated series/movie/etc., but it never panned out.

What follows is a black-and-white silent film set in the 1890s during the brewing Filipino revolution against Spanish colonialism. A series of tragic and comic sequences tells the Three Ages of an Indio (“common man”) as he progresses from boy bell ringer in a village church to teenage revolutionary to adult theater actor rehearsing a popular Spanish play.

When 12-year-old Elsi Björkman and her mother Paula return from a week's holiday abroad, Elsi immediately notices that someone has been in her room. She tells her mother about it, but she does not believe her. At the local supermarket Elsi meets Henry, who seems to spend his time returning shopping trolleys. Elsi does not know anything about the boy, who has an irritating habit of appearing from out of nowhere, only to disappear again, as if into thin air. Nevertheless, the children become friends.

The story is set in a fictional city called Hiranyanagara. It is about how an illegal drug called YUMAS was established in India in the late 2000s and what conflicts it caused.

The boisterous good humor of Jurmala, the nickel-mine owner, is, if anything, only barely dented by the raging battles in Finland before, during and after World War Two. At home, his relationship with his wife is not so prosperous, and they resort to some extraordinary means to try and keep on an even keel.

The premise of this short documentary by Paula Lehtonen is simple: the artist has invited people to her studio to hang out with a therapy alpaca. Everyone can choose for themselves, whether they want to actively seek contact with the animal and whether they want to entertain or be entertained by the alpaca. The alpaca either responds or doesn’t, in its own manner. With the tender approach, Morrison & Friends invites questions about our anthropocentric worldview and explores the coexistence of species.

Marzia, My Friend is the story of an Afghan woman in her twenties, who like all young people dreams of love, freedom and an interesting job. She dreams of peace and independence, but because she lives in Afghanistan, her dreams are revolutionary. Ultimately Marzia’s story becomes a symbol of the wider struggle of Afghan women: it is about the right to make decisions about your own life. The film follows Marzia’s life from spring 2011 to the end of 2014, when international troops were due to leave Afghanistan.

At the end of 2020, an investigation gathers the testimonies of 17 trans* people who offer sexual services in the Yser district of Brussels. One of them agrees to testify on camera in order to shed light on the violence they suffer.

Gevaërt and his daughter Marie show the latter's fiancé, Sergeant Tressignies, the system that opens or closes the swing bridge connecting the banks of the Yser. The Germans having taken this key position, the sergeant receives the order to reoccupy the house of the smuggler.
