Following intrepid adventurers Ben Fogle and Dwayne Fields as they journey to Antarctica to relive the trials and tribulations of the deadly Race to the Pole at the beginning of the 20th Century.

Series following the reconstruction of British explorer Robert Falcon Scott's epic, but ill-fated, trek to the South Pole in 1911

Ben Fogle and Dwayne Fields relive the trials and tribulations of the deadly race to the pole at the beginning of the 20th Century. They step back in time to wear the clothes, eat the food and use the same kit as Scott, Shackleton, and Amundsen.

Former Welsh international rugby player turned adventurer, Richard Parks takes on a series of epic endurance events in preparation for a world first attempt in Antarctica. Richard’s dream is to become the fastest ever unassisted person to ski to the South Pole.

Cook and Peary: The Race to the Pole is an unabashedly biased recreation of the controversy concerning the "conquering" of the North Pole. Robert E. Peary (Rod Steiger), a US Navy commander and shameless self-promoter, sets out through Arctic wastes in 1909 to discover the Pole, an expedition that many others have attempted but failed to complete. His principal rival is Dr. Frederick A. Cook (Richard Chamberlain), who insists that he'd already reached the Pole in 1908. Though the experts (and the US Congress) conclude that Perry was first, public opinion is firmly in Cook's corner--as is this TV movie.

Britain's best hope to be the first explorer to reach the South Pole, Robert Falcon Scott carved his niche in the history books as the man who arrived second, behind Norwegian rival Roald Amundsen. After seeing Amundsen's flag planted -- and knowing he had lost the race to the pole -- Scott and his men embarked on a doomed journey out of the arctic wilderness, a tragic expedition marked by starvation and death.

At only 26 years old, the adventurer Matthieu Tordeur undertook an expedition of 1150 km by skiing from the coast of the Antarctic continent to the South Pole, alone, without assistance and in total autonomy. This immersive documentary plunges us into the intimacy of the 51 days of this exceptional and very moving expedition.
