Yet, because of the deformity of his legs from an accident, he believes he is never destined to experience the true love of a woman. But that lack of love in his life may change as he meets two women

Paul and Stefan are two 14 year old friends. Little interested in school, they hang out together in the Paris of the 80s and fantasize about adult life. They have an idea in mind: break into the Moulin Rouge. So before Stefan moves out, Paul struggles to find a way to enter this mythical and inaccessible place.

An uncle in America wants to endow his nieces with a dowry, provided they succeed in making a name for themselves one night at the Moulin Rouge, where one of them is already performing. Everyone's pulling out all the stops to help the girls put on an act, dupe the theater manager and win the dowry - which will be doubled if they manage to marry, as their uncle is marrying the star of the show.

"Féerie" consists of: a troupe of 80 artists, including 60 Doriss Girls recruited world-wide ; 1000 costumes of feathers, rhinestones and sequins, made in the most famous Parisian workshops ; sumptuous sets in shimmering colours, uniquely designed by Italian artists ; outstanding international acts, and the awaited return of the giant aquarium; all this performed to original music recorded by 80 musicians and 60 chorus singers.

A young man, unsuccessful in love, manages to leave his body and tours Paris, disembodied and invisible, playing practical jokes: a row of coats walks off from a hotel cloakroom; an unattended taxi drives itself away; a row of top hats appears on the pavement.

A singer marries a famous composer, and after a while she gets the itch to go back on the stage. However, her husband won't let her. When she hears that a popular French singer named "Raquel" is coming to New York, she decides to go to Raquel with a plan--unbeknownst to her husband, "Raquel" is actually her sister, and her plan is for them to switch places so she can fulfill her dream of going back on the stage. However, things don't go quite as planned.
