Kren painstakingly weaves the fury in front of his camera lens into dense geometrical figures. Shot/countershot sequences alternate, lumping back and forth between single (!) frames, they turn the Actionist turmoil into ornaments, rigid geometrical patterns, the equivalent in time to what Mondrian used to distill on canvas in space. "Mom and Dad, I have something to tell you" is a documentary film about the journey parents whose children tell them they are gay are forced to take. Through the film different stories of different families and their different reactions are shown with great honesty. Some of them are optimistic, some heartbreaking, but all reveal a much bigger fact of life: that the love of parents to their children is stronger than any other thing. The movie, which is emotional and sensitive, is lead by Assi Azar, one of the rising TV stars in Israel, a screen writer and the host of the Israeli version of "Big Brother". His personal story is unfolded, including a heart to heart conversation between Assi and his parents, for the first time since he came out when he was 24.

In Eau Claire, Wisconsin, Brian and Randi Johnson are your pretty typical conservative Christian family. From there, a successful business is launched, with hardly anyone in the family, let alone their community, knowing, until one of the sons-in-law accidentally stumbles on a sample nipple where the towels were supposed to be. With this revelation, mom and dad opened up to their son, director Justinsuperstar, and the result is this charming and heartfelt documentary.

These three very personal stories were filmed just several years after same-sex marriage was legalized in Canada. The camera returns to three families in 2018, in an attempt to find unbiased answers to questions that continue to be relevant: To what extent the upbringing in non-traditional families impacts a child? Have societal outlooks on non-traditional family structures changed in Canada since 2003?

The teacher's daughter dreams of giving her mother an unusual gift for the New Year and making her happy. At a custom gift agency, she chooses the most expensive one - dinner with a star. But it was difficult to guess what kind of fee we were talking about, and now she and her friends have several months to earn this money. Musician friends help her with this. By coincidence, the star is my mother's unrequited high school love, and New Year's dinner with the star will take place against all odds.

Two families live on the same staircase. One fine day, the dads boycott the moms, and the moms confront the dads in response. The reason for this is the accumulated family troubles: computer games of one, iron drill of the second, female fatigue, and so on. The hostages of the situation are children who are forced to live in two opposing camps. In an attempt to reconcile their parents, they only aggravate the situation and find the only way out - to call and ask their grandfather, a general of tank troops, to come. With his arrival, a planned "rescue" operation begins, filled with very comical situations.

A coming-of-age film: When Laurette's parents disappear following a row, Laurette assumes responsibility for the family. The initial fiesta of children alone gives way to abandonment and the pressures of responsibility.
