Based on the 'Arabian Nights', this film tells of the Baghdadi woodcutter Alibaba (M. Bose) and his magic 'Open Sesame' formula; of the hero's jealous brother Kasim and the slave girl Marjina (S. Bose). The film adapts the 1897 play, giving it a Hollywood-derived exotic flavour. An improvised 'modern' dance is inserted. The slow, mannered acting with the frontally framed tableau shots are enlivened by the dance scenes, especially the Marjina-Abdallah sequence.

Alibaba and his son live with his rich brother Cassim. Marjina and Zabba are two slave girls who work in Cassim's house. Marjina and Alibaba's son are in love with each other. Zabba is in league with Abu Hassan, who is the leader of a gang of thieves. Alibaba finds the thieves' cave and becomes rich. Cassim's wife insists on knowing the secret of his wealth. Alibaba tells his brother who goes to the cave but can't get out as he's forgotten the magic words. The thieves find him and kill him. Alibaba and his son find Cassim and bring his body back for burial. Abu Hassan finds out about Alibaba, and the story then follows Marjina outsmarting Abu Hassan, who comes visiting as a merchant.

A grandmother, a mother and her little girl meet at an oriental restaurant to negotiate the girl's transfer to a better school. Because they didn't manage to get the floating act, the grandmother calls her friend from a prestigious school to find out what the transfer possibilities are. After the phone call, the two women have to choose between a disability act, through which the niece will have to simulate a disability, or an ethnicity act which, as a consequence, will lead to the expulsion of a Roma child. Despite the grotesque bargain, the women end their lunch with a Turkish dessert

Doctor and his wife regularly invite a group of close friends for a weekend of partying at their farmhouse. When lights go out on one such occasion, and they hear a sound of a kiss followed by someone getting slapped, everyone is curious about who the perpetrators are. But it's only the beginning of a mystery.

The movie is based on the story of Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves, from the One Thousand and One Nights or Arabian Tales. The role of Ali Baba is played by Dharmendra and Hema Malini play Morjina.

Intelligent Alibaba was poor while his greedy brother Kasim was rich. One day in the forest, Alibaba discovered the magic passwords to enter the treasure cave of dacoit Zakali and his 40 thieves. Using the words, 'Open Sesame', he entered the cave, took gold coins and walked away by saying, 'Close Sesame'. Greedy Kasim tries to replicate the same but is killed by Zakali. Alibaba manages to bring Kasim's dead body outside the cave but Zakali traces the missing gold coins back to his house. Alibaba's wife Marjina manages to keep the thieves at bay for some time but Zakali enters the house in the guise of an oil merchant. he 40 thieves hide in the oil jars brought by Zakali, Do Zakali and his 40 thieves kill Aibaba and Marjina? Will Alibaba manage to outwit the thieves and avenge his brother's death?

Alibabayum 41 Kallanmaarum is a 1975 Indian Malayalam film, directed by J. Sasikumar and produced by M. J. Kurien. The film stars Prem Nazir, Jayabharathi, Bahadoor, KP Ummer, Vidhubala, Adoor Bhasi and Thikkurissi Sukumaran Nair in the lead roles. The film has a musical score by G. Devarajan.

Porky finds out that Ali-Baba and his Dirty Sleeves plan to attack the fort; it's up to him to go warn the fort. He gets there to discover everyone has left for the Legion convention in Boston. Porky and his rented camel fend off the attackers themselves for a while, but when the situation gets dire, the young camel summons its mother. Momma takes care of the attacker that's menacing them. The secret weapon, who has been sitting on the bench with an artillery shell strapped to his head, now comes in, but runs right through the fort and into Ali-Baba.

Ali Baba steals hidden treasure from some raiders who then seek revenge on his family.
