Fist of Fury is a 1995 Hong Kong television series adapted from the 1972 film of the same title. Produced by ATV and STAR TV, the series starred Donnie Yen as Chen Zhen, a role previously played by Bruce Lee in Fist of Fury and Jet Li in Fist of Legend. The series is also related to the 2010 film Legend of the Fist: The Return of Chen Zhen, in which Yen reprises his role. This series was edited into a 225 minute movie titled Sworn Revenge for the US market in 2002.

December 27, 1976

Huo, a famous master of the Huo family, defeats the Zhao family in a challenge and gains fame. He later fights foreign boxers to defend Chinese martial arts. Huo and his friends face constant harassment from foreigners and struggle to promote martial arts in China. Despite opposition from his father and other martial artists, Huo establishes a martial arts school and ultimately sacrifices his life for his ideals.

In the early 20th century in China, Chan Zan travels to Shanghai with his younger sister in search of a new life after their home village is destroyed by a group of bandits. He notices that Shanghai is divided into an international settlement under the control of various foreign powers, such as Britain and Japan. Besides, he observes that the martial artists' community in Shanghai is marred with disunity and the various schools are pursuing their individual goals. That reflects the state of China: the Chinese are individualistic and often in internal conflict with their fellow countrymen, instead of uniting to drive out their common enemies (the foreigners) and regain sovereignty of their nation. Fok Yuen-gap, founder of Ching-mou School, is trying hard to persuade and influence the other schools to unite under a common purpose of defending China from foreign intrusion.

September 9, 1972

Chen Chen returns to his former school in Shanghai when he learns that his beloved instructor has been murdered. While investigating the man's death, Chen discovers that a rival Japanese school is operating a drug smuggling ring. To avenge his master’s death, Chen takes on both Chinese and Japanese assassins… and even a towering Russian.

A brother and sister escape from Japanese-occupied Shanghai to Japanese-occupied Taiwan, to stay with their grandfather who runs a Kung-Fu school there. However, the master of a Japanese Kung- Fu school in Taiwan has plans to bringing all other schools on the island under his domination, and part of his plan involves the murder of the grandfather.

Amusing homage to Bruce Lee's martial arts classic featuring a young Stephen Chow. The story is about Sing, a Mainlander who came to Hong Kong to find his cousin. He meets up with Siu and hook up with various kung fu schools, in the hope of winning a $10 million dollar prize from a fighting competition.

After Chen Zhen's execution in Shanghai, the Japanese feared that his death would unite all Chinese kung fu schools against them. Fearing this, the Japanese gave orders to the head of the Hong Ku School, Miyamoto (Lo Lieh) to surpass all Chinese schools including the Ching Wu School. When they refuse, the Japanese beat up the students and destroys the school. Meanwhile, one Chinese learns about the destruction of the Ching Wu School when he goes to Shanghai to visit Chen Zhen's grave. This Chinese is the only one who has the guts to fight the Japanese, this Chinese is known as Chen Shen (Bruce Li) who is the brother of Chen Zhen and he vows to avenge his brother's death and end the terror of the Japanese once and for all.

Bruce takes on the evil kung fu masters! In this action packed adventure, Bruce Lee takes a desperate journey leading to a fortune in gold bullion. On the way, he comes face to face with the evil Vice Lord and the brutal gang members of the dreaded Black Dragon Society. The fists move fast and furious as Bruce challenges these deadly kung fu masters and proves that he is a super hero.

At her father's deathbed, Little Flower swears she will travel to Shanghai to locate his top students, Mercury and Stone, to revive the Ching Wu Men to beat back the Japanese still in the PRC.

During the Wulin Assembly, Blood Demon Luo severely damaged groups of heroes. The leader, Huo Changkong, lost half of his moves in the decisive battle. Huo finally injected his power into the young Liu Jing and protected him from evacuation. Fourteen years later, Liu Jing, who claimed to be talented, wanted to learn from Kung fu masters, came to the "Huo Boxing" by chance. Master Huo, the owner, allowed him to take the fighting challenge, but Liu Jing failed and had to leave. On the street, Liu Jing met another ace, Tang Baibai, and followed him in search of the one-of-a-kind master, but came to the secret grid of the Black Feather Society and met the Blood Demon.

Obeying the wishes of his mother, a young sojourner heads out to Amsterdam to work for his cousin. Against his better judgment, he joins his cousin in the drug-trade.
