Masters of Science Fiction is an American television anthology series with each hour long episode taking the form of a separate short film adaptation of a story by a respected member of the science fiction community.

The show is hosted by physicist Stephen Hawking.

The series heads to the very frontiers of space and science to produce the definitive television history of science fiction, told through its impact on cinema, television and literature, with the help of filmmakers, writers, actors, and graphic artists. Each episode will explore one of the enduring themes of science fiction: time travel; the exploration of space; robots and artificial intelligence; and aliens.

Explore the evolution of sci-fi from its origins as a small genre with a cult following to the blockbuster pop-cultural phenomenon we know today. In each episode, James Cameron introduces one of the “Big Questions” that humankind has contemplated throughout the ages and reaches back into sci-fi’s past to better understand how our favorite films, TV shows, books, and video games were born.

To commemorate the release of Hikaru Utada's first best album "SCIENCE FICTION" to commemorate the 25th anniversary of her debut, this book is based on interviews with people who have been closely involved in the production of "SCIENCE FICTION" and her activities to date. , a special original program that examines the "essence" of her charm and explores the secret to her popularity.

The program will focus on comments from Hikaru Utada herself, who talks about her thoughts on this work, and will feature video artist Tomokazu Yamada, who directed the music video for her new single "Isiro Nainai Hana," and choreographer for the same work. There will be a creator conversation with dancer Aoi Yamada, and a special conversation between music journalist Shibana Nori and writer Tsuya-chan, who have interviewed Hikaru Utada and are familiar with her work.

Endeavors to reveal who the reclusive writer John Wyndham Parkes Lucas Beynon Harris was, through interviews with colleagues, flatmates, family friends and scientists. His life, as can best be constructed, is revealed and his body of work, once settling on the name John Wyndham, is analyzed and discussed. An actor portrays him by quoting things he wrote that have survived, and the only piece of footage ever recorded of him is examined. The emphasis is on what his personality may have been, the scientific ramifications of his themes, and the influence of his writings and the film adaptations of those, on later generations.
