Coco is 6. She lives in a big house with her mother and aunt. One night, she wakes with a start after a terrible nightmare about a character resembling Woody Woodpecker. She asks her mom to call the police.

After pulling a daring, if rather strange, bank heist while dressed as nuns, half of a four-member gang gets arrested and thrown in jail. While they're working on the chain gang, their partners in crime drive up with guns blazing and spring them. With everyone free, the leader of the gang announces that he's got a plan for another score that will be guaranteed to give them the notoriety they crave.

A fledgling filmmaker returns to his hometown to make a documentary about flowers and their significance at the major stages of human life. Obsessed with capturing reality, he is none too pleased when a sudden zombie uprising threatens his artistic vision. Unwilling to compromise, he resolves to shoot around the walking dead as if nothing unusual is actually happening.
