Ken is a popular and good-natured university sophomore who meets Shake, a shy freshman and university scholar, through a basketball game brawl. After settling their misunderstandings, the two young men are immediately drawn to each other. Although Shake and Ken's close friends support their blossoming intimate relationship, Sandee, Ken's childhood friend becomes envious and tells his conservative widowed mother -- preempting their romantic love affair. Relationships are strained and tension mounts at home, Shake and Ken eventually find themselves parting ways. In an unfamiliar twist, the remorseful Sandee becomes a bridge and helps reunite Shake and Ken. Extra Finds episodes involve viewers interacting with Gates

Time Team Extra was a British television series that aired on Channel 4 in 1998. Presented by Robin Bush, it was a companion programme to the archaeology series Time Team, that first aired on Channel 4 in 1994.

Time Team Extra is an eight-part series, with each episode accompanying an episode of Time Team's fifth series. The episodes looked more into the history of the site being excavated.

Football League Extra was a Football League highlights show supplied by ITV Sport. It usually aired late on Monday nights. The programme first aired in 1994, and ended after the 2003-2004 season, when it was to be replaced on Sunday mornings with The Championship. The show ran many club-specific features and also featured competitions and archive footage. Throughout the years, there might have been a Friday/Sunday or Monday extra which showed extended highlights of certain games. The show was first presented by Gabriel Clarke - other presenters later included Dave Beckett, Matt Smith and Tom Skippings. Football League Extra disbanded for a time in 2002 after the ITV Digital collapse, but soon returned to ITV during the 2002-2003 season. The shows theme tune was called "Little Britain" by Dreadzone. Other songs included "July" by Ocean Colour Scene and "Whoosh" by Bentley Rhythm Ace.

The Mint Extra, originally Extra Mint, was an early evening version of The Mint, which was developed and was shown on ITV's newly launched ITV Play channel. Extra Mint was presented by one presenter and gave away much smaller sums of money to winners. It featured very different games than the late-night edition. On the 14th of May 2006 the last episode of the Extra Mint was shown, and was replaced at the time by, Friends Reunited: The Common Room. However, a similar show, The Mint Extra, began airing on weekends since 9 September 2006. The Mint Extra was also going to be showing on selected weekdays in the future between 20:00-22:00, however will be known as Mini-Mint.
