Each episode features complete musical pieces, interviews and behind-the-scenes footage with some of today's most notable jazz artists. Shot in HDTV with multiple moving cameras and a medley of elegant, cinematic lighting designs, SOLOS: the jazz sessions showcases an exciting and dynamic variety of jazz styles – from the blues and boogie-woogie to bebop and beyond. The series premiered on Bravo! in Canada in the summer of 2004 and has subsequently been broadcast on HDNet, CBC Bold, Rave HD, Sky Arts, VTR Chile, and Mezzo TV. The programs are filmed at Toronto's Berkeley Church performance and event venue.

Lost River Sessions is a television, concert, and radio series launched by WKU PBS and WKU Public Radio out of Bowling Green, KY. The series explores the music scene from the roots up by featuring musical talents in the Folk, Bluegrass, and Americana genres performing intimate live sets in various iconic venues across South Central Kentucky.

The MAX Sessions is an Australian television program broadcast on MAX. It features intimate performances, by both Australian and over-seas artists, played mostly acoustically in a live set up, similar to MTV Unplugged.

East Coast Sessions is a Canadian English language television series. East Coast Sessions debuted on April 1, 2008 at 7:30 p.m. AST on the CBC affiliated Maritime stations. The Raw Sessions is an Irish interactive music television programme broadcast on RTÉ Two in 2009. The country's first ever rockumentary series, it is presented by Dez Ryan and follows the attempts of eight musical acts to write and record an original composition in the space of twelve hours. It is produced by Lotus Media.

The Raw Sessions commenced broadcast on 12 May 2009. Episodes are broadcast late on Tuesday nights and repeated late on Saturday nights.

Each week the two recorded tracks are made available for download, with downloads counting towards the Irish Singles Chart. Tracks were recorded in destinations such as Sun Studios in Temple Bar, Dublin, Windmill Lane Studios on Ringsend Road, Dublin, and Grouse Lodge in County Westmeath. There was also a celebrity episode which featured more established musicians recording a cover version for charity.

Eight acts took part in the show. These were Dirty Epics, Hoarsebox, The Infomatics, Majella Murphy, Noise Control, R.S.A.G., Sickboy and Sweet Jane. The four acts which made it to the semi-finals recorded a track at Grouse Lodge. The top three from that vote progressed to the final at the Button Factory in Dublin.

The project was initiated as the result of the forced cancellation of Eric’s concerts scheduled for May 2021 at the Royal Albert Hall due to the continued disruption caused by the pandemic. Looking for a viable alternative and hoping to keep his options open, he reconvened with his band to the English countryside and staged a concert in the presence of only the participants themselves while letting the cameras roll. (Eric’s wife, Melia, the sole outside observer inspired the Sessions title.) The mostly acoustic set was envisioned to be like an "Eric Clapton Unplugged II," but not quite, as three songs are played with electric guitars. The result became far more than simply a sequence of greatest hits. Rather, it’s one of the most intimate and authentic performances of his entire career, an offering flush with real insight into the make-up of his indelible catalogue.

New Jersey's favorite son, Bruce Springsteen, and a passel of his best instrumentalist pals pay tribute to Pete Seeger, the legendary folk music icon (and unabashed political activist). Includes behind-the-scenes footage from the making of the album, plus concert film featuring the Boss on tour with the Seeger Sessions Band as they perform "American Land," "Bring 'em Home" and "Pay Me My Money Down."
