Tommy Tucker gets hit by a car and ends up in safety heaven. Or does he?

In 1981, The Marshall Tucker Band filmed a live concert for broadcast on MTV. All original members performed except for Tommy Caldwell, who died in a car crash in 1980. The footage is a document to be treasured, capturing as it does a defining moment in the band’s history – on the heels of tragedy, but at the top of their musical game.

And new queen Voss must battle the prejudices of a job in the merchant navy as well as gain parental acceptance.

A documentary that follows the life of jazz bassist Ben Tucker who changed the face of Savannah. Arriving in 1971, this African-American bass player created Schoolhouse Rock, opened Hard Hearted Hannah’s, and wrote “Comin’ Home Baby.” His passion for music and love of Savannah bridged a very wide racial gap.
