Set in 1995, Mark, a skilled mechanic and the son of a former gangster, stumbles upon a phone that has the ability to connect with the past, tries to save his estranged mother from a grim fate. While facing his own family's legacy, Mark must navigate through dangerous consequences of altering the past, as it causes unforeseen repercussions in the present.

The two prominent families in town, that of Pareil Pappu's (Janardanan) & that of Mampalli Chackappan's (V.K. Sriraman), were always at loggerheads, with most conversations resulting in fisticuffs. Pappu's dreaded nephew Antony (Suresh Gopi) poses a constant headache for Chackappan, but Chackappan's daughter Nimmy (Divya Unni) & Antony fall in love. Chackappan & Pappu forget their differences & unite, but soon after, Pappu is shot dead by a mysterious sniper & Antony sets out to find the killer.

Based loosely on Shakespeare's play, Plutarch's "Life of Antony", and Pietro Cossa's dramatic poem, "Cleopatra", this movie was spectacular for its time. It offers location shots made in Italy and Egypt, large crowd scenes (e.g., the Roman army embarking in Alexandria), lots of emotional drama (Marc Antony & Cleopatra, his wife Octavia, sister of Antony's rival Octavian, unhistorically coming to Alexandria to beg him to return to her, and some mean, mean looks exchanged between Octavia and Cleopatra.
